The History of SJK(C) Chien Chi

• 1918: The school open
• 1935: The school closed during the Japanese Occupation
• 1942: Japan launched a war of aggression,school was closed under the threat of war
• 1946: The school building of Yata House had been devastated, and everything had to be done from scratch
• 1951: The government issued an emergency decree, and the scattered residents were ordered to relocate to

settlements in the eastern part of the country
• 1953: Establishment of the school committee
• 1956: A classroom on the left side of the front row was added
• 1963: A classroom on the right side of the front row was added
• 1965: An additional canteen was built
• 1980: There is 800 student,an office and a classroom were added
• 1992: Build a two-story school building with eight classrooms and build a diversified auditorium
• 1999: The first four-story new school building (Zhi Ya Building) was completed at a cost of

RM650,000
• 2000: The second four-story building was completed at a cost of RM550,000
• 2001: The 200,000-cost canteen was completed and put into use.
• 2003: Initiated the fundraising of a four-story administrative and teaching building costing RM1.5 million
• 2018: Celebrate 100th centenary
• 2020: Stop class during MCO

The wasps are quietly building their homes, but
fortunately the Chairman of the Family Association
found them .Thanks to the Johor Jaya Fire
Brigade, now the Tiger Head Honeycomb has been
wiped out

Big News!!!

This auditorium was built in 1997 and is a place
where teachers and students conduct various
activities. It also plays an important role during
the resumption of MCO classes. The auditorium
is where the students from the morning and
afternoon classes gather for school and after
school.

Heartache but fortunate to find it early and did
not cause any casualties. Here, the school would
like to thank the two supporters of Chien Chi.
Fortunately, their careful observation of Chien
Chi can prevent a disaster from happening.

Run to the Moon

In order to rescue the dangerous wall, the Dong Jia Association
of SJK[C]Chien Chi unanimously decided to use all the funds
raised from the online charity run of "Flying to the Moon" to
rebuild the auditorium. Therefore, all friends who love SJK[C]
Chien Chi, whether you are a student, alumni, parent or social
person, you are welcome to contribute. Chien Chi needs you!

100th Anniversary

The Thousand People Banquet for the 100th Anniversary of
Plentong SJK(C)Chien Chi Elementary School and the Proposal
Party is about to detonate.
In the evening, the school also sold three-year charity running
Charity Riding Medal Seats, medals, event T-SHIRT and the
100th Anniversary of the school.
