Rev. Fr. Anto G. Alappatt

– A brief Introduction.

Fr. Anto G. Alappatt, born as son of Mr. George and Mrs. Lucy family, at Parappukkara on April 29th, 1968.
Fr. Anto is blessed with 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Rosily, Sr. Meritta, Joseph, Fr.Johnson, Rani, Varghese, and
Dr.Peter are achan’s siblings. Fr.Anto completed his primary school education at L.P.U.P.H.S Parappukkara. He
completed his Bachelor Degree in Arts from Calicut University. Fr.Anto completed his Bachelor Degree in Phi-
losophy and Theology from St. Joseph’s Pontifical Seminary and St. Thomas AP Seminary respectively.
Fr.Anto completed his seminarian life at St. Pauls Minor Seminary Irinjalakuda. St. Joseph’s Pontifical Semi-
nary Aluva and St. Thomas AP Seminary, Kottayam. Fr.Anto ordained from Mar James Pazhayattil, at St.John’s
Forane Church Parappukkara, Thrissur. Fr.Anto served both Syro-Malabar and Latin Catholic community in
almost all continents. Fr. Into started the International Marian House at Lanett, Alabama.

4. Vijnanavedi (1994)
5. Biblical Rosary (1995)

Fr. Anto got some prestigious awards for his literary works:
1. Paurasthya Vidyapeedam Award
2. Diocese Silver Jubilee Award - Irinjalakuda Diocese
3. Knights of Columbus - Honorary Life Membership Award
4. Knights of Columbus - Fourth Degree Award

Fr. Anto believes in sincerity and novelty.
Before coming to St.Alphonsa Syro-Malabar Church Austin, Fr.Anto served as Vicar at St. Joseph’s Church
Pazhukara, Thrissur. St.Alphonsa Austin family is so glad that god blessed us with Fr.Anto as our Vicar.
