Introduction - In Brief For the group assignment, students in teams of 5 members will be assigned to evaluate the performance of selected company. You are been given one (1) public listed company from Bursa Malaysia and analyze the financial statements of that company and other relevant information for the last three (3) recent fiscal years that you can obtain and then make suggestions for companies investment decision.
GUIDELINES Brief description of company’s background; mission, vision, board of directors, organizational structure of your company. Brief analysis of company competitive position in its industry (SWOT analysis - discuss in Table); Financial Ratios (at least two ratios for each type of financial ratios below). Discuss and interpret in details the findings of financial ratios. Please state, if there is any obstacles or limitations faced by the companies. Provide suggestions/recommendations for the company based on the performance evaluation above. Prepare the PRO FORMA INCOME STATEMENT (only for sales and net income) for 3 years. Prepare the PRO FORMA BALANCE SHEET for 3 years. Please discuss the performance of the company based on the forecasted financial statements prepared above. Conclusion. Reference and appendices. You are required to analyze the financial statements of the given companies (ONE (1) company) and other relevant information for the last THREE (3) recent fiscal years (2020, 2021, 2022) that you can obtain and then suggest the investment decision. Your analysis should cover to the following information: - Profitability ratios - Liquidity ratios - Activity ratios - Debt ratios - Market Value ratios (Or you can use the categories of ratios as stated in our main textbook: Please refer to as many as references you can and don't rely on our main textbook only.
