Your assignment for this semester is producing a half-hour video on a community project. You may either visit an old
folks’ home or an orphanage. Discuss with group members and let me know where you plan to visit.

The aim of this project is to inculcate the values of helping the needy and the unfortunate. In your video, you may want
to interview the caregivers of the old folks’ home or orphanage on how the community has contributed in assisting
them in their tasks.

I would suggest that you also play a part in helping out. Contact the old folks’ home or the orphanage prior to your visit
and ask them about the things that they need which you could bring along.

You are required to include some activities in your video. Discuss with your group members and suggest two activities
that you will carry out during the visit.

In our initial discussion, we have decided to carry out two
activities that will be featured in our videos. One of the
activities is a telematch. We can get all the children to join,
and they can have fun while winning some prizes. We plan to

seremban. The kids will love it. Another activity that we plan
to do is a talent show. We will each form a team with the kids
and teach them a skit or a song to perform. This hopefully can
foster a closer relationship among the children too. We will
perform in front of the caregivers so they can have fun too!
