C.S.R. activity


The students of Primary section visited the *yellow


room* of *Sarthak Foundation* as a part of C.S.R.


activity.

The students interacted with the children living in slum


areas and distributed different stationery items and


eatables.

The students participated in the Diwali celebrations of


the Sarthak Foundation and had fun with the children.


They discussed their hobbies and interests.

The children were very happy to meet the students of


CMS.


Children's Day Celebrations

"Every child is a different kind of flower, and they are


beautiful in their own way."


The students of primary class I celebrated Children's

Day with great enthusiasm. They were told about the


importance of children's day and why it is celebrated on

14th November.


They participated in different activities like races,


dance ,songs , drawing and colouring.


Smiley badges and chocolates were given by the class

teachers to their pupils as a token of love and


appreciation.


Later during the day, a movie and popcorn party was


thrown in the classroom where the children greatly

enjoyed watching The Lion King movie.


The day was charged with entertainment and merry


making.


GOMTI BOOK FESTIVAL



































































“It is books that are the key to the wide world; if


you can’t do anything else, read all that you can.”


Keeping this thought in mind, students of


class V were taken to attend the book



exhibition - ‘GOMTI BOOK FESTIVAL’ on the


banks of River Gomti.


An invigorating session on Storytelling and


Reading Aloud was conducted by Dr. Payal


Singh Chaudhary. Dr. Payal narrated the


story of the origin of River Ganga. She


opened the world of mythological wonders



and left the children awestruck.


The workshop presented students with


opportunities to enact and interact with the


resource person as well as with the audience.


Students returned enriched with knowledge


about mythological realities and life lessons


pertaining to them.

The pre primary children of the Indira Nagar Campus


celebrated this day with much zeal and enthusiasm.

As they entered the gate, they were welcomed with a


'smiley tag'.


They enjoyed playing games, singing songs and


dancing with their friends and teachers.


Some of the games played were; frog race, throwing


the cards in the umbrella, passing the ball etc.


Activities full of fun like making the bunny face as a

take away, gave way to their happiness and good


will.The day was full of enjoyment and excitement. .


The students of classes I and II celebrated

A visit to the Lucknow



Zoological



Garden





An educational trip to the zoo was organised


for the students of classes I and II on 17th of


November, 2022 to promote awareness and to


expose the children to the world of animals

and birds.


The children enjoyed watching the wild life

ranging from the vibrantly coloured feathered


friends to the ferocious King of the Jungle.All


were a treat to the young eyes.

The students enthusiastically observed the


majestic animals and birds like Asiatic Lion,


White Tiger, Royal Bengal Tiger, Ostrich,

Pelicans, Sloth Bear and Elephants. They were


delighted to see wide varieties of flora and


fauna.

The excursion proved to be an outdoor


classroom for the students as they were able to


accommodate and assimilate knowledge about

different animals.

The toy train ride was a pleasant surprise for


the pupils and the smiles of happiness were


well-marked on their faces.

Overall it was a day well spent which has given


our students wonderful memories.




A session was conducted on Prevention of Sexual

Harassment at Workplace (POSH Act) for the


teachers of Indira Nagar campus. The session


consisted of all the sections of the POSH Act and

about the Local Complaint Committee.
