Indonesia International Book Fair 2022

Malaysian Scholarly Publishing Council (MAPIM) is a body that
is active in the development of scholarly and scientific
publications. Its members consist of all publishers of Public
Institutions of Higher Education (IPTA), Research Centers in
Malaysia and Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP). This committee
was established on 11 July 1996 during the DBP-IPT Technical
Committee Meeting (5/96) held at DBP, Sarawak branch.

Officially, the establishment of MAPIM was approved on 22 May
1997. The appointment of MAPIM members was made by the
Director General, Department of Higher Education Malaysia as
the Chairman of the Malaysian Scholarly Publishing Council
(MAPIM), and the Malaysian Ministry of Education.

At this point MAPIM is made up of 27 members consisting of
the Language and Library Council, IPTA publishers, research
institutes and government agencies.

SHAMSUL KHAMIS is a senior lecturer at the

2000. He obtained a Bachelor of Science (Forestry) degree
in 1998 and Master of Science (Wood Utilization) degree

AIZA HARUN is a senior lecturer at the School of Science,
Faculty of Applied Science at Universiti Teknologi MARA
(UiTM) Jengka Campus, Pahang. He has served at UiTM
Pahang since 2000 until now. He obtained his Bachelor of
Science (BSc) degree in Pure Chemistry in 1996 at
Universiti Putra Malaysia. Then he continued his studies
