Warm up
1. Invite all students to communicate and meet each other
in the class using the expression pattern as follows:

hello or hi. How are you doing? How is your weekend

or summer?
2. Students are stimulated to make a conversation by the

words provided as followings; wake up, go to school,
eat breakfast, money, friend, teacher, and classroom.
3. They change their role of speaking with a partner.

Presentation
1. Students are introduced to the survey that is provided
for examining the types of individuals in intellectual
learning styles.
2. They access in the survey through Google Application.

The survey is conducted in both languages; Thai and
English.

3. Later then, the teacher show students the course
syllabus and invite them to negotiate the content and
evaluation.

Follow up
1. Students need to evaluate their English proficiency and
provide their thought on their level as well.
2. Students, then, need to write their goals of learning
English and expect from the course.

Evaluation
1. Students use the provided words to communicate with
friends actively.

2. Students use the survey to assess yourself in
intellectual learning styles.

3. Students can evaluate their English proficiency and
provide explanation for the level perceived by
themselves reasonably.

4. Students discuss the syllabus proposed by a teacher.

Students will recognize regular words used in daily life, find individual learning styles, and the
content of the course through the syllabus.
Anticipated Problem & Solutions
Students might not be able to perceive their own level of English proficiency. To solve this
problem, the scale of different level is needed to show as an example of assessment.
Furthermore, explanation of assessment will be the problem as wee. In order for students to
express their reason on their assessment, they need to see a model of explanation by the teacher.
