RATIONALE


















• Training team believes in the cost of not

training people. Untrained employees will,

inevitably, lack the knowledge to use company

“resources” properly, which will lead to waste

and also, lack of knowledge about procedures
will affect customer interaction and loyalty.


• Acknowledgment of the importance of having a

Talent pool who are ready and able to take

upon a role when the opportunity presents

itself.


• This program will also support the goal of

having a succession plan for critical roles and
critical talents.


• This program also sees the benefit of

improving the skills and competencies of

employees who do not aspire for higher

positions but would want to have personal

development none-the-less.

OUR GOAL

MECHANICS










• Open to all employees; for employees with less than 1

year tenure, a training bond will be signed

• Employee can only register to 1 course in a year


• Program will run for 3 months (1 QTR)


• 2 programs roll-outs per quarter

• 3 days lecture per program

• Exams and case studies
• Participants should have a rating of P (Proficient) to pass the

program
• Except for Beyond Basic, participant should pass the program

to be eligible for the pool
• Faculty will be a cross functional responsibility of all

departments for topic experts

• Minimum of 7 enrollees for a program to start and

maximum of 15

• Training will shoulder meals and materials (on a per

need basis)


• Progress report will be given to participants at the end
of the program


• Each program will have an assigned consultant/ Dean


• Eventually will become Houses/ Guilds ; House

Games to foster camaraderie for the whole Torrentian
community

The LIT masterclass is open to the support team

employees who are interested and want to

expand their knowledge and expertise to any

course or subject matter beneficial to the

performance of their task.





The topics of the masterclass will come from the

suggestion/s of the employees together with

their respective managagers and will be

subjected for deliberation and Training Needs

Assessments.

HOW TO APPLY












To be accepted, you need to be deliberated by

the ManCom. Because of this, you are required

to dully accomplish (2) two things
