ACKNOWLEDGEMEMENTS
First of all, I want to thank my teacher for giving
me a lot of help and support in my research. Then
thank my friends for making me full of motivation.
Finally, I want to thank my mother for giving me
a lot of strength and love. She provided a lot of
information and materials for my research. Thank
you to all of the above and hope you will be happy
forever.
INTRODUCTION.
Start thinking about the relationship between time and people from the lily
that I gave to my mother. Watching the process of lily blooming to withering
reminds the mother from youth to middle age. Mom bloomed like a lily
and then slowly withered. It is full of energy when it blooms, but it is not
meaningless to wither. Time consumes Lily and her mother, and I hope to go
back to the mother before the time was consumed.
Throughout the series, I hope not only to trace this process, but also to
express the feeling of being consumed and withered. In terms of materials,
using mother's second-hand clothes for re-production can be closer to
mother. Tie-dye is used in technique to reflect the process of consumption.

SECOND-HAND
CLOTHING.
HING.
History
or y
Since the 17th century, second-hand clothing
has been re-cut and designed by people. And it is
common for people to send friends with redesigned
clothes. Second-hand clothes not only provide
fashion for the rich but also a source of clothing for
the poor. In the nineteenth century, European and
American countries became an important source of
second-hand clothing exports to African countries.
Since 1970, second-hand clothes have been regarded
as an important part of expressing personality
and self. The culture and capital of second-hand
clothing has greatly improved in the 2000s, and
second-hand clothing has become a new market.
The second-hand clothing trade is understood as the
diversification of economic potential.

The second-hand clothing market is very cost-
conscious and often promotes sustainability and
environmentalism. Warehouses that classify second-
hand clothing are particularly prominent in the
second-hand trade. These categories of clothing are
compressed and exported. Good-grade second-hand
clothing is exported to Central American countries,
while lower-grade second-hand clothing is exported
to Asia and Africa. The largest exporter of second-
hand clothing is the United States, and the largest
importer is sub-Saharan countries. Some countries,
such as the Philippines and India, ban the import
of second-hand clothes in order to protect the local
textile industry.

Second-hand clothes are sold in more
African countries, second-hand clothes are
sold in the market, and most of the clothes
are from the United States. However, some
people worry that second-hand trade in
African countries will reduce the industrial
development of African countries. In Africa,
second-hand clothing has destroyed the
local textile industry. It is concluded that
second-hand clothing donated by charity
is likely to cause more poverty in African
countries.
Sustainable

Fashion
Sustainable fashion is a process that
promotes the development and change of
the fashion system. Sustainable fashion
not only focuses on fashion textiles and
products, it involves the entire fashion
industry. Sustainable fashion aims to
reduce the impact of fashion on the
environment, and can reduce or prevent
air pollution, water pollution, and global
climate change. Since 1990, green issues
have entered the fashion industry. Since
then, the research agenda surrounding
sustainable fashion has been developing.

Printing
Use lily images to create prints.
Use the printed fabric to overlay the new
fabric, then sew and cut it.
Different material fabrics can be superimposed
on the bottom fabric, which will achieve
different effects after cutting. This technique
will produce different effects with the
movement of the human body after being
made into a garment.
