韭菜[註 1](學名:Allium tuberosum),雅稱起陽子,是石蒜科蔥
屬的多年生草本植物,叢生,葉細長而扁,開小白花。葉和花嫩時可以
食用[2]。补肾益胃,充肺气,散淤行滞,安五脏,行气血,止汗固涩,平
嗝逆。主治阳痿,早泄,遗精,多尿,腹中冷痛胃中虚热,泄泻,白
浊,经闭,白带,腰膝痛和产后出血等。

Allium tuberosum (garlic chives, Oriental garlic, Asian
chives, Chinese chives, Chinese leek) is a species of onion native to
southwestern parts of the Chineseprovince of Shanxi, and cultivated
and naturalized elsewhere in Asia and around the world.
Uses have included as ornamental plants, including cut and dried
flowers, culinary herbs, and traditional medicine.[citation needed] Garlic
chives have been widely cultivated for centuries in East Asia for their
culinary value. The flat leaves, the stalks, and immature, unopened
flower buds are used as flavouring.[23] Another form is "blanched" by
regrowing after cutting under cover to produce white-yellow leaves and
a subtler flavor.[24]
