JUNE - 21ST INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY International Yoga Day is observed every year in our school on June 21 to raise awareness about this ancient practice and to celebrate the physical and spiritual prowess that yoga has brought to the world. PTM - PARENT TEACHER MEETING A PRODUCTIVE COLLABORATION 2 October, 2022 GRADE X AND XII GRADE I - IX The first Parent Teachers Meeting for this academic year for classes X & XII was held on 8th of July 2023. The meeting was held in order to discuss the performance of students with their parents. JULY 15TH - EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT DAY VMHSS, SURAPET celebrated the Educational Development Day on the 15th of July, 2023 in Mechatronics hall in VEC Campus. As part of the event, many competitions were held earlier for students. Primary School children actively participated in various Competitions depicting Education Development Day. An Oratorical contest on the topic, ‘The importance of education’ was held for students of Std VI to VIII. Poetry writing both in Tamil and English on the topic, ‘EDUCATION IS THE POWERFUL WEAPON' was conducted for Std IX to XII Students. Mr. R. ARUL KUMAR, the Deputy Director presided over the Valedictory function and addressed the students on the importance of being literate. Mr.R. Sec. School on 18th July 2023. The council election was a two-day process. The students from all the houses registered their nomination for various positions.
2 The students first began campaigning for their respective posts on 17th July 2023. The contenders for the various coveted positions read out their manifestos in the classrooms and made attractive posters with their logos to convince the students that they were the right choice for the position.
