A person who is pursuing study in the education field
(BTESL) with a vision of exposing the beauty of the
English language among second language learners.
Moreover, preparing dear self for the upcoming

internship in a secondary school.

PERSONAL PRINCIPLES IN TEACHING

To teach and care for children in a motivational way that
is understanding of all student's needs and can provide
leadership in the classroom. Other than that, to keep
abreast of new technology and new teaching techniques

to always be the best teacher I can be.

Overall reflection: microteaching class

This subject, in my opinion, is important for all future
teachers, because it teaches us how to be fully

prepared for the real teaching world. It gives us an
overview of what we should do and prepare ahead of
time, especially when dealing with students, which is
extremely helpful for someone like me who has never
dealt with students before. Not only that, but it gives
me the opportunity to learn about and improve my
teaching skills for future usage. From developing lesson
plans to understanding how to teach the students with
suitable methodologies, every topic being taught is

necessary for my own development. In the
microteaching classes, I get to develop myself through

anticipating.

WEEK 1

TOPIC 1: INTRODUCTION TO MICROTEACHING
DATE: 4/7/2021

On this day, we just met Madam Nirmala which will be
our teacher for this subject. We did an ice-breaking

before the class starts. Then, Madam Nirmala began to
provide us with a full explanation of the

Microteaching subject's evaluation for the entire
semester. We were also being introduce to our google

classroom code.

WEEK 1

DSKP (LESSON PLAN)



DATE: 5/7/2022

The next day, Madam Nirmala had shown us the DSKP
and lesson plan for secondary school. Today we just
review back on how to create a lesson plan. We revise
back on things that we had forgotten. For example,
how to write the correct learning objective.

WEEK 1

TUTORIAL TASK (CEFR)



DATE: 6/7/2022

For this tutorial, I met Madam Izzati. She is the one
who is in charge of my tutorial class. We did not do
any ice-breaking with her since most of us had been in
her class. Madam Izzati asks us to look at CEFR and do

a few questions. After that, post it on the padlet.
Madam Izzati's class helped me understand CEFR

better. It freshens up my understanding.

WEEK 1

TUTORIAL TASK CREATE A FULL LESSON PLAN



DATE: 7/7/2022

For this tutorial, we were asked to create a full lesson
plan since we had learned about CEFR in the last class.

I went brainstorming with few of my friends in the
class. As you can see in the picture, that is my full

lesson plan.

WEEK 2

TOPIC 2: TEACHING AND LEARNING OBJECTIVE



DATE: 12/7/2022

In today's lecture, Madam Nirmala had teach us the
right way to write a learning objective. She also told us
that we need to show our learning objective in front of
the class before we start teaching. After that, Madam
explained to us about our E-portfolio. She had show us
our senior's E-portfolio as an example for us to have a

better understanding what to do.

WEEK 2

STATEMENT OF LEARNING OBJECTIVE (A,B,C,D)



DATE: 13/7/2022

Since we only have one lecture class for this week, we
were required to do a task in Madam Izzati's tutorial.

We must pick any form and look at their Learning
Standard and Content Standard. After choosing one,
we need to create an activity and present in front of
the class. Madam Izzati had asked us to be in pairs, so
here is my pair. Alya. I and Alya did our work together

using Canva to present tomorrow.

WEEK 2

PRESENTATION OF YESTERDAY TASK



DATE: 14/7/2022

Today, we were required to present our slides in front
of the class. Since Madam had given us the whole
period to do our slide yesterday, so every group
managed to present their slide today. When I am
listening to my friend's activity, it has helped me to
gain a few ideas on what activity I could do for my

mock teaching. They were very creative on creating an
activity in a short period of time.

WEEK 3

TOPIC 3, SET INDUCTION



DATE: 18/7/2022

In today's lecture class, Madam Nirmala had teach us
about Set induction. She showed us a video on

youtube about a teacher doing her set induction before
starting the activity. The video that she showed us

made me realize that we can do so much activity in set
induction to gain the pupil's attention. After the video
ends, she continues to explain more in-depth about set

induction.

WEEK 3

TYPES OF TEACHING AIDS IN LANGUAGE TEACHING



DATE: 19/7/2022

Today's lecture is about types of teaching aids that we
can use in language teaching. She highlighted to us
the many types of teaching aids that we can utilize in

our teaching lesson later.

WEEK 3

CREATE A 2 SET INDUCTION USING 4 STRATEGIES IN
ONLINE AN PHYSICAL CLASS


DATE: 20/7/2022

The task for today is that we were required to create 2
good set induction and 4 strategies for online and

physical class. Madam Izzati asked us to be in a group
of 5 to make us easier to brainstorm with each other.
After discussing, we need to present our work in front

of the class.

WEEK 3

CREATE 1 TEACHING AIDS FOR 3 ACTIVITY USING THE
SAME TEACHING AID
DATE: 21/7/2022

Before our tutorial class started, Madam Nirmala had
told us to bring a manila card, a few colors paper, ice
cream sticks, glue, and also scissors. From the things
that we had bring, we need to create one teaching aid
that can be used in 3 activities. So, the whole day in

our tutorial class we just did that and we did not
manage to present our teaching aid. Madam Izzati
asked us to present our material in the next tutorial

class

WEEK 4

TOPIC 4: STIMULUS VARIATION
DATE: 25/7/2022

Today, Madam Nirmala teach us about topic 4 which is
stimulus variation. I listen to her explanation
attentively because I know this will help me to

understand better. After that, Madam Nirmala asked
any volunteer to come in front and share with the class
any interesting thing that had happened in their life.
Madam used spin the wheels to ask volunteers to come

in front.

WEEK 4

TOPIC 5 : QUESTIONING TECHNIQUES
DATE: 26/7/2022

For today's class, Madam had teach us about
questioning techniques. I had learned that this
method is used by teachers when asking questions.
Then, Madam shared with us our assignment 1.

WEEK 4

TEACHING AIDS PRESENTATION AND ASSIGNMENT
DISCUSSION

DATE: 27/7/2022

This tutorial class, we were required to present out
teaching aid that we had done last week. My group and
i did snake and ladder alike game for our teaching aid.
We present to the class and they seem to enjoy it. Also,
after finishing presenting our teaching aid, we discuss
with Madam Izzati about our assignment. Things that

we do not understand, we asked Madam Izzati.

WEEK 4

DEVELOP SIX QUESTIONS FROM BLOOM TAXONOMY
DATE: 28/7/2022

For this tutorial class, Madam Izzati asked us to
develop six questions based on bloom's taxonomy. We
work in a group for this task. Since my group has six

people in the group, each of us takes one bloom's
taxonomy level and creates a question. I got the last
level which is "create" I had develop few question for

the students.

WEEK 5

TOPIC 6: REINFORCEMENT STRATEGIES



DATE: 1/8/2022

In this class, we learned about the reinforcement
strategy. I had learned that first, we need to identify
the behavior. Then, we need to develop a plan and
remove the negative. Lastly, we need to reinforce the

new behaviour.

WEEK 5

TOPIC 8: CLOSURE IN A LESSON



DATE: 2/8/2022

For this last lecture class, we had learned about the
closure in a lesson. Madam Nirmala showed us a video

about closure and how we can make our closure
interesting.

DATE: 4/8/2022

For this tutorial, I had presented with my group mates
at Madam Izzati's tutorial. Madam Izzati said that we
had done a great job. Since I am doing the writing, I

had created a book for the students to do. Then, at
8PM we were required to do a test on blended
assesment.

WEEK 6

MOCK TEACHING PRESENTATION



DATE: 8/8/2022

On this week since I switched my place with Pricila, I
will be presenting my mock teaching on week 7. For
this week I just went to class to support my friends and
watch them do their mock teaching. I also listen to
Madam's comments so that I would not do the same

mistake as they did.

WEEK 7

MOCK TEACHING PRESENTATION



DATE: 15/8/2022

I presented my mock teaching on this day. It was
nerve-wracking because I was one of the lucky people
who need to present in a lecture class. I just try to do

my best and apply everything that I had learn
throughout this semester. Madam Nirmala gave a
comment on my mock teaching and from there, I

know which part I can improve more.
