and this is my portfolio!

Hello!
I thought I’d give a brief background on myself. My name is Judith Laskowski and I am
currently studying International Business with a focus in Finance at Rollins College in Winter
Park. Throughout high school I hosted all the school-events from Freshman Glow to Senior
Prom I was in charge of all the dances. My teachers even gave me the legacy that I would
be a fairytale party planner as they knew party planning was one of my skills and hobbies.
I love planning parties! From decorating, event coordinating and budgeting it was always
a thing I enjoyed doing. I’ve always done face painting, fashion shows, games and crafts
at my younger siblings birthday parties! Next month I am planning a spa themed birthday
party for my 10-year-old sister. Not because I’m her cool big sister and I have to, I get joy
out of these things, and frankly I’d have it no other way! I love doing crafts, face painting
and hooping (dance hula hooping), I am also an ex-all-star cheerleader and dancer and
acted all throughout high school.  

I came across your page as a happy accident and I am happy I did, because what you do
is amazing, and I would really like to gain some insight and experience in the professional
party planning world. Eventually I would love to start my own business (once I’m done with
school) back home in Connecticut, with a primary focus in
kids parties. While I am not looking to broaden out in the
entertainment industry as much as I am looking to further
my knowledge in what it’s like to run a successful business!

I will be working over the summer at Raquette Lake Girls
Camp in upstate New York as a sailing instructor, but I am
looking for either an internship or a part-time job for the
upcoming semester.

This was Willy Wonka themed,
complete with chocolate bar
invitations (including a
Golden Ticket)! We also
had a 30 ft. Candy Bar,
Chocolate Fountain,
Photo Booth, DJ,
Catered Food, and a
canned food drive in
lieu of gifts.
I planned and executed the
entire event and it was a
smashing success!
