Make your own kite. Kite Play Station Project You need: string 1 large plastic bag 2 sticks of bamboo (1 of 90 cm, 1 of 60 cm) glue coloured paper scissors knife (1 of 90 cm, 1 of 60 cm) You need: string 1 large plastic bag 1 Make a cross with the two sticks and tie them with the string. 2 Ask an adult to make a small cut at the top of each bamboo. 3 Pull the string through the cuts and tie it tightly. 7 Tie a long piece of string to the bottom of the kite. Decorate it with pieces of coloured paper. And fly your kite! 4 Cut the plastic sail. Make sure it is 2-3 cm bigger than the kite frame. 5 Put the frame on top of the plastic sail. Fold the plastic over the string and glue it. 6 Tie a piece of string to the top and bottom of the kite. The string must be longer than the stick.
