Updates for non-clinical areas
Staff in non-clinical areas are no longer mandated to wear face masks.
Masks are also no longer required in all other non-clinical areas across Trust
sites including when walking around our buildings, in corridors, in restaurant and
kitchen areas and in CSB training and meeting rooms.

Updates for clinical areas
Staff in the following high risk clinical areas should continue to wear face masks:
•In direct access pathways where patients are triaged/assessed or where they
present themselves for care and their Covid-19 status is unknown.
•Where patients are suspected or confirmed Covid-19 positive.
•Where patients have a compromised immune system.
•Areas where there are Covid-19 outbreaks.

Clinical staff that do not work in the above environments are able to remove their
mask with immediate effect if they choose to do so but must put one on when
entering an environment listed above.
Please note, the same rules apply for patients and visitors wearing face masks
when entering high risk areas or when caring for specific groups of patients as
noted above.

Going through fertility treatment can be a lonely journey.
The Fertility Support Group is designed to offer a supportive, compassionate environment to
meet others who are on a fertility journey, and to share wisdom for coping with the tough days.
It is hosted by the counselling team from the CRM and the Department of Spiritual Care at
UHCW.
The Fertility Support Group welcomes individuals or couples at any stage of their treatment at
UHCW and meets on the second Monday of every month.
To register your place email: [email protected].
Please be aware spaces are limited.

Our new salary sacrifice schemes – which let you spread the cost of purchases
direct from your salary – are available for staff.
The schemes use Payroll Pay®, which enables you to spread the cost through
monthly salary reductions with no credit checks or up-front costs. This means you
may save on National Insurance and NHS Pension Scheme contributions on the
value of the items ordered.

EPR Localisation Sessions:

Please ensure your team members attend if they have been invited
for the next 12 weeks, our EPR team is working closely with staff
across the Trust in a series of ‘Localisation Sessions.’

These sessions will determine the new processes and workflows
that will be part of our new EPR.

The team has worked with representatives across the Trust to
identify appropriate
attendees.

If you have team members that have been invited to these
sessions, please stress the importance of their attendance in order
to ensure everyone is represented.
