INTRODUCTION

e-C.U.B.S. ReComp consisted of 10 modules which were adapted
from Get Smart Plus 3 textbook which then were modified to
cater the pupils need in reading comprehension. There was a
bookmark provided in each page of the reading comprehension
text to help pupils to answer the reading comprehension
question as a guidance with the C.U.B.S technique.

In each page also, there were three stars provided as a token
if the pupils were able to answer the question correctly. Three
given stars represent three questions on the comprehension
text. These tokens were provided as a reward to acknowledge
pupils' understanding in answering the reading comprehension
questions.

Illustrations were included in ea
ch text to help activate pupils'
prior knowledge and give them an overview what is the text
about. This also to capture the pupils' attention and facilitate
their understanding and retention of what is being read by
them.

At the end of this module, self assessment questions were also
provided to help the teachers and pupils to understanding how
this module can be a help to their teaching and learning as a
technique or as materials.
