MT SAC TEACHER PREP INSTITUTE | FALL 2020
WELCOME BACK TPI STUDNETS!
BY KEIKO TSURUMI
TPI COORDINATOR
I hope everyone is off to a good start of the new academic year.
My name is Keiko Tsurumi and it is my honor to join the TPI as a coordinator upon Prof.
Newman's retirement. I teach Japanese at Mt SAC and have taught the language both in
high school and elementary school. I am excited to work closely with future teachers and
share my passion for the profession. Teaching brings happiness no matter how bad my day
is. Also, refining the craft of teaching is a life-long learning and I enjoy the challenge!
Although we will most likely remain online this year, TPI plans to launch exciting new
initiatives such as TPI Canvas Hub with Pronto, TPI buddy and Apple 101 Workshop series.
I hope to see all of you take advantage of what TPI offers and I am looking forward to
meeting you at the end of the semester Apple Social in November. Please feel free to say
hello at [email protected] or send Pronto messages. Be active & stay active at TPI!
