What is '' DINOSAUR''

Dinosaurs are a group of reptiles that
have lived on Earth for about 245 million
years. ... All non-avian dinosaurs went extinct
about 66 million years ago. There are roughly
700 known species of extinct dinosaurs.
Modern birds are a kind of dinosaur because
they share a common ancestor with non-avian
dinosaurs.

Megalosaurus

Megalosaurus is an extinct genus of large
meat-eating theropod dinosaurs of the
Middle Jurassic period of Southern
England. Although fossils from other areas
have been assigned to the genus, the only
certain remains of Megalosaurus come
from Oxfordshire and date to the late
Middle Jurassic.

herbivorous, four-legged,
thyreophorans from the Late
