Reason for being a candidate: 
 

 
My number one reason for being a candidate is because I believe that I can make an unprecedented 
difference in the Klein Independent School District as a Trustee. Anyone who has encountered me or 
any of my work, would attest to the fact that I am one who believes that we all want to get along and 
interact with each other, but because of lack of continual effective communication, require an 
icebreaker to mobilize us and ensure we head in that direction. My work ethic, patience, welcoming 
spirit, listening ears, and impartial candor prepares me to service as that ideal icebreaker/ community 
link/ Klein Trustee. Friends to be, my very humble beginnings, personal and professional life triumphs 
have given me a life’s testimony that lends itself to me having a God given talent of motivating, and 
inspiring people to see and embrace the best in others. This results in our Klein community receiving a 
trustee whose interpersonal dynamic is severely contagious and sustainable.  
  
Lastly, is the notion that this is a k‐12 public education school board elected position, special 
emphasis on “k‐12 school board.” Gratefully and by his Grace, I have the highest degree awarded to 
education leaders in k‐12 education‐ have worked in schools/central offices for school districts in 

several regions of our country, inclusive of the 300 square miles of my current employer, who are 
neighbors to us. Confidently, but with a great deal of humility, I say, I know k‐12 education! I know 
the policies, the impact of policies on students, employees, community, and businesses.  I know the 
implications of state policies, bonds and of vendors attempting to win bids to service our district. For 
the last 3 years, I have had an employer who mandates that I remain abreast of many of the Texas’s 
school code board policies and the implications they have on 30,000 employees and 215, 000 
students. As your newly elected Trustee, we will not have to waste valuable dollars and resources 
teaching me the k‐12 education policy interpretations, and implications of proposed and adopted 
policies, as this is one costly benefit of electing an experienced educator/ district administrator.  Klein, 
in many regards this is like a fantasy football team selection, a U.S. Olympic Dream Team 
appointment‐ we want to assemble a board of k‐12 public school education trustees who are best 
equipped to represent all of us in a manner that undoubtedly reflects how awesome we truly are.  
 
Thought partners, our elected k‐12 public education board of trustees are not only charged with 
exceptional governance of Klein, they must meet with board members/trustees from all over Texas 
and in some cases across the nation. Klein ISD seat 3 for 2015 board trustee candidate selection is an 
important question of “who is unquestionably best suited for the task, who do we NEED representing 
us in our k‐12 school board?” Based on my personal encounter with a number of you and in reading 
the explicitly stated purpose of why many local organizations exist and thrive, I trust that you will

Razón para postularse:

Mi principal motivo para postularme es porque creo que puedo marcar una diferencia sin
precedentes en el Distrito Escolar Independiente de Klein como Síndico. Cualquiera que me haya
conocido a mí o a algún ejemplo de mi trabajo daría fe del hecho de que soy el que cree que todos
queremos llevarnos bien e interactuar unos con otros, pero debido a la falta de comunicación eficaz
constante, necesitamos un rompehielos para movilizarnos y asegurarse de que nos encaminamos en
esa dirección. Mi ética laboral, paciencia, espíritu acogedor, oídos abiertos y franqueza imparcial me
prepara para servir como ese rompehielos ideal y enlace con la comunidad y Síndico del Klein. La
posibilidad de nuevas amistades, mis orígenes muy humildes, los triunfos en mi vida personal y
profesional me han dado un testimonio de vida que se me presenta al tener un talento dado por Dios
para motivar e inspirar a las personas a ver y aceptar lo mejor en los demás. Esto le trae a nuestra
comunidad de Klein un síndico cuya dinámica interpersonal es contagiosa y sostenible de
sobremanera.

Por último, menciono la idea de que ésta es una posición por elección para una junta escolar de
educación pública de k-12, con especial énfasis en “junta escolar de k-12”. Agradecido y por la gracia
de Dios, tengo el título más alto otorgado a los líderes en educación en educación de k-12; trabajé en
escuelas y oficinas centrales de distritos escolares en distintas regiones de nuestro país, incluidas las
300 millas cuadradas de mi empleador actual, que es vecino nuestro. Lleno de seguridad, pero
también con mucha humildad, digo que conozco la educación de k-12. Conozco las políticas, el
impacto de las políticas en los estudiantes, empleados, comunidad y negocios. Conozco las
implicaciones de las políticas estatales, bonos y proveedores que intentan ganar licitaciones para
prestarle servicios a nuestro distrito. En los últimos 3 años, he tenido un empleador que exige que
permanezca al tanto de muchas de las políticas de juntas de códigos escolares de Texas y las
implicaciones que tienen para 30,000 empleados y 215,000 estudiantes. Como su Síndico recién
electo, no tendré que desperdiciar valiosos dólares y recursos para enseñarme las interpretaciones de
las políticas para educación de k-12 y las implicaciones de políticas propuestas y adoptadas, ya que
este es uno de los costosos beneficios de elegir un educador o administrador de distrito con
experiencia. Klein, en muchos aspectos, es como una selección del equipo de fútbol soñado, una
designación del Dream Team olímpico de EE.UU.; queremos reunir una junta de síndicos de educación
de escuela pública para k-12 que cuenten con las mejores herramientas para representarnos a todos
de una forma que indudablemente refleje nuestra excelencia.
Socios de opinión, nuestra electa junta de síndicos de educación pública para k-12 no sólo está
encargada de la excepcional gobernanza del Klein, sino que debe reunirse con miembros de juntas o
síndicos de todo Texas y, en algunos casos, de todo el país. La selección de 2015 de candidatos para
síndico de la junta para el puesto 3 para el Klein ISD plantea una pregunta importante: “¿quién está
indiscutiblemente mejor capacitado para la tarea, quién NECESITAMOS que nos represente en
nuestra junta escolar de k-12?” En base a mi encuentro personal con varios de ustedes y al leer el
objetivo explícitamente declarado de porqué existen y prosperan muchas organizaciones locales,
confío en que tomarán la decisión en base a la necesidad para la posición de síndico de la junta
escolar de k-12 y me escogerán como su candidato.

Lý do tranh cử:

Lý do tranh cử đầu tiên là vì tôi tin rằng tôi có thể tạo nên sự khác biệt chưa từng có tại Khu Học Chánh
Độc Lập Klein ở cương vị Ủy Viên Quản Trị. Ai đã gặp tôi hoặc biết đến bất kỳ công việc nào của tôi, đều
hiểu tôi là người tin tưởng tất cả chúng ta ai cũng muốn sống hòa đồng và giao tiếp với nhau, tuy nhiên
vì không có sự giao tiếp hiệu quả thường xuyên, nên cần có người định hướng cho chúng ta và bảo đảm
chúng ta đang đi đúng hướng. Đạo đức nghề nghiệp, sự kiên nhẫn, tinh thần tiếp nhận, biết lắng nghe,
và sự thẳng thắn công minh giúp tôi trở thành người tiên phong/mối liên kết cộng đồng/ Ủy Viên Quản
Trị Klein lý tưởng. Thưa những người bạn tương lai, sự khởi đầu rất khiêm tốn của tôi, những thành tựu
trong cuộc sống cá nhân và công viên của tôi đã mang lại cho tôi trải nghiệm cuộc sống để tôi có được
tài năng do Đứa Chúa ban tặng, đó là sự cầu tiến, và truyền cảm hứng giúp mọi người nhìn thấu được
những phẩm chất tốt đẹp nhất ở những người khác. Qua đó, cộng đồng Klein của chúng ta sẽ có một ủy
viên quản trị với những phẩm chất năng động có thể truyền cảm hứng lâu bền.
Cuối cùng, quan điểm về vị trí được bầu chọn trong ủy ban trường học giáo dục công lập k-12 đặc biệt

chú trọng đến "ủy ban học đường k-12". Nhờ ơn trên của Ngài, tôi có văn bằng cao nhất trao cho các
nhà lãnh đạo giáo dục trong nền giáo dục k-12 - làm việc với các trường học/văn phòng trung tâm cho
các khu học chánh ở nhiều nơi trên toàn quốc, bao gồm cả khuôn viên 300 dặm vuông của hãng sở hiện
tại của tôi, nằm kế bên chúng ta. Tôi tự tin, nhưng cũng hết sức khiêm tốn khi nói rằng tôi hiểu nền giáo
dục k-12! Tôi hiểu các chính sách, ảnh hưởng của chính sách đối với học sinh, nhân viên, cộng đồng, và
doanh nghiệp. Tôi hiểu mục đícháp dụng các chính sách của tiểu bang, các trái phiếu và các nhà cung
ứng đang cố gắng giành hợp đồng thầu để phục vụ học khu chúng ta. Trong 3 năm qua, tôi làm việc cho
một hãng sở có qui định bắt buộc phải tuân thủ nhiều chính sách nội quy học đường của Texas và việc
áp dụng các chính sách đó đối với 30,000 nhân viên cùng 215,000 học sinh. Là Ủy Viên Quản Trị vừa
trúng cử của quý vị, chúng ta sẽ không phải lãng phí tiền bạc và nguồn lực quý giá để dạy tôi về ý nghĩa
của chính sách liên quan đến nền giáo dục k-12, và ý nghĩa của các chính sách đề xuất cũng như các
chính sách đã được thông qua, đây là lợi ích quý giá khi chọn một viên chức quản trị học khu/nhà giáo
dục có kinh nghiệm như tôi. Đối với Klein, vấn đề này rất giống như tuyển chọn một đội hình bóng bầu
dục lý tưởng - Đội Tuyển Olympic Hoa Kỳ - chúng ta muốn thành lập một ban quản trị giáo dục công lập
k-12, là những người được trang bị tốt nhất nhằm đại diện cho tất cả chúng ta để thể hiện được những
phẩm chất xuất sắc nhất của chúng ta.
Thưa các bạn, ban quản trị giáo dục công lập k-12 được bầu chọn không chỉ có trách nhiệm quản lý xuất
sắc Klein, mà họ còn phải gặp các ủy viên quản trị/các thành viên ban quản trị từ khắp mọi nơi ở Texas
và trong một số trường hợp từ khắp mọi nơi trên toàn quốc. Việc lựa chọn ứng cử viên cho chức ủy viên
quản trị vị trí số 3 trong năm 2015 của Klein ISD là câu hỏi quan trọng về "ai chắc chắn sẽ phù hợp nhất
với nhiệm vụ đó, chúng ta CẦN ai đại diện trong ban quản trị học đường k-12"? Dựa trên kinh nghiệm
gặp gỡ của tôi với nhiều người trong số các bạn và khi đọc mục đích tuyên bố rõ ràng về lý do tại sao
nhiều tổ chức địa phương tồn tại và phát triển, tôi tin rằng các bạn sẽ đưa ra quyết định dựa trên nhu
cầu cho vị trí ủy viên quản trị học đường k-12 khi lựa chọn tôi.

我參選的首要理由是：我相信一旦當選理事，我可以為 Klein 獨立學區帶來前所未有的
改變。接觸過我本人或者與我共事的人都可以證明我是這樣一個人——我相信人人都渴
望彼此愉快相處和交往，但由於缺乏持續有效的溝通，我們需要一個打開局面的破冰者
來調動局面，讓我們齊心協力向同一個目標奮進。我擁有良好的職業道德和耐心，待人
熱情，有聆聽的願望和對所有人一視同仁的坦誠。這些特質讓我准備好成為這個破冰
者，成為社區的橋樑，Klein 的理事。各位朋友，我的出身並不優越，但我的個人與職
業生涯取得的優異成就足可證明上帝贈與我一種天資，我能夠激發和啟迪人們去發現并

擁抱他人最好的一面。因此，如果我當選 Klein 社區的理事，我會以優秀的人際關係能
力持續感染他人。

最後一個原因是，這個席位是 k-12 公共教育學校理事會的選舉席位，尤為強調的是
「k-12 學校理事會」。蒙上帝眷顧，我獲得了 k-12 教育體系中教育領導力專業的最高
學位，我擁有在美國數個學區的學校或中央辦公室工作的經驗，我現在工作的學區有
300 平方英里，就在 Klein 的附近。因此我可以信心滿滿、同時仍舊懷著謙卑之心告訴
大家：我對 k-12 教育極為瞭解！我瞭解 k-12 的教育政策，以及它們對學生、僱員、社
區及企業的影響。我瞭解本州政策與債券的影響，也熟悉那些希望在競標中取勝而為學
區服務的供應商。過去 3 年裡，應僱主的要求，我對於 Texas 州很多學校的校規和校董

我成為新一任理事，各位不必浪費寶貴的資金和資源來教導我 k-12 教育政策的內涵，

家或學區管理人員的益處。從很多方面來看，Klein 學區理事會的選舉都像在組建夢幻
足球隊，美國奧林匹克夢之隊——我們想要組建一個由精英組成的 k-12 公共學校教育
理事會，擔任學區所有民眾的代表，彰顯我們這個群體的卓越。

選出的 k-12 公共學校教育理事會成員將成為各位的智囊，他們不僅需要出色地管理
Klein 學區，也必須與來自 Texas 州乃至全美國的理事會成員晤面。Klein ISD 2015 理
事會理事席位 3 的選舉向各位提出了一個重要問題：“誰是最適合這項任務的人選？我
們需要誰在 k-12 學校理事會中代表我們？”我曾與你們中的一些人晤面，我也明確瞭
解很多本地組織存在并發展壯大的原因，因此我相信各位會根據實際需求做出明智的決
