TESTIMONIALS UMK INTERNATIONAL Farhan Siddhiqui Pakarat Thongjan
Farhan Siddhiqui PhD Faculty of Earth Science ( FSB ), UMK, Malaysia 28 consistently pleasant in Kota Bharu and the nearby areas, making it an ideal place to live and study. One of the events I enjoyed the most was Geoscience Day at the FSB Jeli campus. It was a fantastic event attended by both teachers and students. There were many activities to participate in, such as quizzes and dancing. I was amazed to learn that the event was entirely organized by graduate students from the geoscience department, and it featured excellent food. It was my irst event, and I had a great time. During my time at UMK, both in Kota Bharu and Jeli, I had the opportunity to meet many international students from different faculties and cultural backgrounds. It was a completely new experience for me, and some of these students have become my best friends. We share many things and enjoy our studies and life here on campus. It feels like a home away from home, and I consider myself fortunate to study here. It will always hold a special place in my heart. Metric no- G20E0207F Hi, my name is Farhan Siddhiqui, an Indian citizen, and I'm a PhD student in FSB at UMK. I joined the university back in 2021, and it's been over two years since I enrolled at UMK. My research topic is the metallogeny of supergene Nickel & Cobalt mineralization in Ibra Laterites, Sultanate of Oman. My irst day at the university was at the Kota Bharu campus, where I arrived from New Delhi to complete my admission process. I had the pleasure of meeting Azma in the administration ofice and Mr. Arifullah, a faculty member in biotechnology at the same university, who helped me tremendously, even picking me up from the airport. I still cherish those memories and the way they both assisted me. I found all the staff there to be very friendly and supportive. Kota Bharu is a clean city with excellent facilities for local and international students, including an airport, a rail network, a good transportation system, and taxis operated by mobile apps. The city offers numerous places to explore and visit. One of the best things about Kota Bharu is its diverse eateries and restaurants catering to almost all nationalities.
