8MY MALAYSIAMalaysia is a very beautiful and peaceful country. We, Malaysians are multiracial and we live together inharmony. Malaysia has 13 states and the Federal territories. Our national flag has four colours with different meanings. Yellow means loyalty to our king and country, bluemeansunity, white means purity and red means boldness. Malaysia’s national animal is the proud MalayanTiger. Ournational bird is the colourful Rhinoceros Hornbill. Thenational flower of Malaysia is the pretty Hibiscus. Our national day is on the 31st of August. We have grandcelebrations yearly as it is our independence day. Wealsoget to celebrate many other festivals like Hari RayaAidilfitri, Chinese New Year, Deepavali and Christmas. In Malaysia, there are plenty of nice places to visit. Touristscome to see our beautiful Mount Kinabalu, Malaccatownhistory, Langkawi beach, KLCC towers and many more. Wealso have so many types of tasty local food. Traditionally,nasilemak is served with spicy sambal andusuallyincludesfresh cucumber slices, small fried anchovies, roastedpeanuts, and hard-boiled or fried eggs.
