Page 4 HAPPENINGS March 09, 2023 www.hap2it.com Steve Howey and Ginger Gonzaga star in the CBS TV adaptation of True Lies, in the face of on-set illnesses and the shadow of the 1994 movie. Howey, who plays Harry Tasker, the role Arnold Schwarzenegger played, said he worked through a 103- degree fever in the actionpacked show. Gonzaga "lost her voice. She was mouthing the words. I hurt my back. I pulled my left quadriceps," Howey said in a recent Zoom panel. Like the movie, Helen Tasker (Gonzaga) discovers her husband actually has been an international spy throughout their relationship. When Harry's cover is blown, Helen is recruited to become his partner. The action did not wait for Howey's fever to break. Gonzaga said the episode being shot was just as physical as any other. "When he had a 103 fever, it also just so happened to be the episode where he needed to pick me up multiple times," Gonzaga said. He "just had to deadlift my body." Howey said he injured his finger performing a stunt with a co-star. Mike O'Gorman plays Luther, a member of Harry's team, but O'Gorman stepped out for this stunt. "I had to throw Luther against the wall," Howey said. "I threw his stunt double against the wall, and it snapped my finger back. Then I had to pop it back." Helen proves useful on spy missions. She speaks more languages than Harry so can often understand the bad guys. When it comes to the show's action, Gonzaga said she is learning new skills like horseback riding, boxing and skiing. Gonzaga said she previously practiced gymnastics. "I had no idea how much I would need Pilates for this job," Gonzaga said. "I literally need the muscle that comes from that to do some of the work." Gonzaga said Helen's skills do not translate into her real life. She said she was reminded she does not possess Helen's action hero skills while on location in New Orleans. "We did go out in New Orleans and I was assaulted by a woman, literally taken by my hair and thrown onto the ground," Gonzaga said. "I was unfortunately a damsel in distress in real life in that situation, with Steve literally having to come and save me." Although it has been 29 years since the movie True Lies premiered, Howey said Schwarzenegger's character is indelible. Howey said he refuses to do a Schwarzenegger impression, even off-camera. "I said that, out of respect for the man, I would never do the impersonation," Howey said. "I've never done it, not once, and I never will." Howey said he and Gonzaga created their own Harry and Helen for the TV iteration of True Lies. "We couldn't mirror the movie," Howey said. "We wanted to bring our own flair." Gonzaga said she never saw the 1994 film. So she could approach Helen without the pressure of Jamie Lee Curtis' performance. "The last thing I want to do is an impression of Jamie Lee Curtis," Gonzaga said. "I love her so much. I have so much respect for her." True Lies airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on CBS. By Fred Topel Steve Howey, Ginger Gonzaga braved illness, expectations in 'True Lies' Born July 12, 1977 (age 45) San Antonio, Texas Howey landed small roles in “ER” and “The Drew Carey Show” before he got his first starring role in 2001 as Van in the WB sitcom “Reba.” In the summer of 2010, Howey joined the cast of the Showtime hit “Shameless” as neighbor and local bartender Kevin Ball. Hovey would remain a main cast member throughout the remainder of the show. Howey married to actress and model Sarah Shahi (“The L Word”) in 2009, but divorced last year Steven Howey and Ginger Gonzaga star in the new CBS action series “True Lies” - subscribers to Paramount+ can find the show streaming FYI Steve Howey Born May 17, 1983 (age 39) Modesto, California Gonzaga got a break in the early days of Hulu with the original web series The Morning After. Gonzaga co-hosted the Monday-Friday show with Brian Kimmel. Gonzaga went on to land the role as Nikki, the best friend of the titular character in the Disney+ series “She Hulk: Attorney at Law”. FYI Ginger Gonzaga The original film “True Lies” was released July 15, 1994, written and directed by James Cameron. Development for a sequel began as early as 1997, with Schwarzenegger, Tom Arnold, and Jamie Lee Curtis to return as well as Cameron in the directing chair. By March 2001, the script had been completed, but the September 11th attacks put a damper on the whole project, leading to its full cancellation. “Terrorists aren’t funny anymore. They never were, but it was distant enough from our psyche that we could make it funny, it’ll never be funny again. I just think that that is over, that kind of humor is over,” Cameron said. At-home Flu Tests By now, many (perhaps most) Americans have used and become comfortable with the idea of athome tests for COVID-19. So why not at-home flu tests? The Food and Drug Administration and pharmaceutical companies have considered the idea in the past but rejected it because 1) at-home flu tests were deemed too inaccurate and 2) those who tested positive probably wouldn't stay home. But post-pandemic, the idea has been revived, with the FDA looking at the question anew and a number of startup companies working to develop an at-home flu test, though it's not clear when the first efforts might show up. In the meantime, if you haven't gotten a flu shot, it's not too late. Bac to the Future Before COVID, the world's deadliest pathogens weren't viruses. They were bacteria. They still are. A new Lancet study estimates that 7.7 million people worldwide died from infections from 33 different types of bacteria in 2019, making it the second most common cause of death after heart disease. For the record, COVID-19 has caused 6.7 million deaths since the pandemic began in 2019. Body of Knowledge Have you ever noticed that if you're walking really fast, your body will almost slip into a state of running on its own accord? The change of gait, some researchers suggest, is the body's effort to sustain a stable state (either walking or running) and that running slowly may use less energy than walking faster. Best Medicine Q: What's the difference between the Sahara and Jell-O? A: One is an inhospitable desert and the other is an in-hospital dessert. Observation "Of all the paths you take in life, make sure a few of them are dirt." — American naturalist John Muir (1838-1914) Medical History This week in 1864, Rebecca Lee Crumpler became the first Black woman to receive an American medical degree, from the New England Female Medical College in Boston. She began her medical career in 1852 as a nurse and spent her lifetime working to improve the health of the Black community. In 1883, her desire to educate others in general medical principles resulted in the publication of her "A Book of Medical Discourses: In Two Parts." In the book, based on her personal journals, she focused on instructions for women on how to provide medical care for themselves and their children. Sum Body Six ways to remove a splinter: No. 1: Soak in warm water with dissolved Epsom salts, then bandage for a day to help bring the splinter to the skin surface where it can be pulled out with tweezers. No. 2: No Epsom salts? Try soaking in hot (but not too hot) water, which will cause the wood to swell and push it closer to the skin surface for removal. No. 3: Make a paste of water and baking soda, apply to splinter and cover for 24 hours. Splinter should move to surface. If not, repeat until it can be removed. No. 4: If the splinter is already at surface but tweezers can't do the job, apply a piece of duct tape. Leave for a couple of minutes, then gently pull off at the angle the splinter went in. Soaking site in warm water first can help. No. 5: Dunk affected area in oil or vinegar for 20-30 minutes. Again, these liquids help draw the splinter closer to the skin surface. No. 6: Similar to tape, a dab of nontoxic, water-soluble glue (like Elmer's school glue) on the splinter can aid in removal. Apply, allow to dry, then carefully pry off with fingernail, hopefully bringing the splinter along with the glue. Curtain Calls Henry Taylor was a pallbearer at Kensal Green Cemetery in London. Page 6 HAPPENINGS March 09, 2023 www.hap2it.com Born Pamela Fionna Segall July 9, 1966 (age 56) Aldon made her acting debut as Dolores in the 1982 musical film “Grease 2.” Shortly after, she played the role of Kelly in 12 episodes of the sitcom “The Facts of Life” (1983-84). Pamela is an established voice actress, you may remember her voicing young Bobby Hill in the FOX animated comedy series “King of the Hill” (1997-2010). She received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Voice-Over Performance in 2002. Collider recently reported that a revival of the show has been ordered by Hulu and will include the original cast. FYI Pamela Aldon Better Things alum Pamela Adlon said her new Hulu series, History of the World, Part II, honors Mel Brooks' gifts for satire and parody and shows how the comedic filmmaker has influenced generations of funny people. "Not only is this giving him his flowers," Adlon said in a recent Zoom interview, "he's involved in this and he can work and he is in his 90s and he feels adored and relevant. We need this right now when everybody is so afraid of pushing the envelope and doing naughty, risky things. That was Mel." The eight-episode sequel to Brooks' 1981 classic comedy film, History of the World, Part I, started last Monday on Hulu. Two new installments packed with time-skipping sketches became available each day through Thursday, and are now available to stream in its entirety. In addition to co-writing and executive producing the show, Brooks' instantly recognizable voice can be heard enthusiastically introducing different segments. Playing various historical and fictional characters are Adlon, Nick Kroll, Ike Barinholtz, Wanda Sykes, Jack Black, Taika Waititi, Zazie Beetz, Dove Cameron, Jake Johnson, Jay Ellis, Seth Rogen, Josh Gad, Zahn McClarnon, Johnny Knoxville and Sam Richardson. Kroll and Barinholtz are also writers, directors and producers on the project. Adlon said it is a bit surreal to be working on a fresh project with Brooks, who is 96 and hasn't made a film since 2005's musical adaptation of The Producers. "I can't even believe I made the cut," she said. "I'm so happy." Adlon recalled being obsessed with the book and record album Free to Be You and Me when she was growing up in the 1970s. "I imitated Mel and Marlo Thomas as the babies and that formed my ear with voices," said Adlon, who for years has brought to life animated characters in the TV shows King of the Hill and Recess. "I know every word. I imitate their voices," the actress said, referring to Brooks and Thomas. "2,000- Year-Old Man and High Anxiety and Young Frankenstein. Now, you're going to ask me when I saw History of the World. I don't know because it's always been in me. You never forget." A scene from History of the World, Part I that inspired Adlon was Bea Arthur's deadpan depiction of a civil servant interviewing unemployed gladiators in ancient Rome. "'Have you killed today?'" Adlon said, reproducing Arthur's raspy-voiced, eyebrow-arching line delivery from the movie. Asked if she expects 2023 viewers to know their history well enough to understand the show's rapidfire humor, Adlon laughed. "We might be a little bit dumber than we were" in 1981. "Maybe the great thing would be that this might entice people to look up what these things are," she said, singing a few bars from "The Inquisition," the Spanish Inquisition-themed song from History of the World, Part I. Adlon was also thrilled to be part of the showstopping musical numbers in Part II. "It was ridiculous. These people are not only brilliant, but they are fearless and they are kind. So you felt safe and you felt like everybody was there to really score," she said of her fellow castmates, who were happy to break into song and dance regardless of how silly the circumstances were. Like Adlon, The Mindy Project, Blockers and Afterparty star Barinholtz was raised in a "strong Mel Brooks" household. "He really has been a guiding light in all of the comedies that I have enjoyed throughout my whole life," Barinholtz said. "There was never a movie before Mel Brooks where people were holding their sides from laughing so hard." Kroll -- best known for his work in Big Mouth, The Oh, Hello Show and Sing -- said it was essential to prominently feature Brooks' voice in History of the World, Part II. "To feel and hear Mel Brooks throughout was important and, when he agreed to narrate the show, that was very exciting -- until we had to then direct Mel Brooks in the narration, which was exciting and terrifying," Kroll said. "Trying to give notes to your hero is very difficult," he said. "Directing Mel in those moments when he would either say, 'Good idea!' or 'That's terrible!' were equally thrilling." Being surrounded by talented friends with whom Barinholtz and Kroll had worked with before helped assuage any anxieties they had in taking on the momentous task of following up the beloved original. "They were very easy phone calls to make. We knew most of the people we were reaching out to," Barinholtz said. "When you call someone and you say, 'Do you want to spend a couple of days working on a Mel Brooks production?' they cannot get there fast enough." By Karen Butler Pamela Adlon stars in "History of the World, Part II," now streaming on Hulu. Pamela Adlon: 'History of the World' sequel is the naughtiness we need Written and directed by Mel Brooks Stars Mel Brooks, Madeline Kahn, Harvey Korman, Cloris Leachman Locally debuted at Market Square Cinemas, 8600 Sheridan Road on Friday, June 26, 1981. The film is a parody of the epic film genre. The four main segments consist of stories set during the Stone Age, the Roman Empire, the Spanish Inquisition, and the French Revolution. Other shorter skits included reenactments of the delivery of the Ten Commandments, the Last Supper, and a teaser trailer for “History of the World, Part II” which said is “coming soon.” However, Mel Brooks said at the time he had no intention for a sequel. The title is a play on “The History of the World” by Sir Walter Raleigh, which was intended to be published in several volumes, but only the first was completed. FYI History of the World, Part I

www.hap2it.com March 09, 2023 HAPPENINGS Page 11 Salzburg: An Austrian festival Salzburg is forever smiling to the tunes of Mozart and “The Sound of Music.” Thanks to its charming old town, splendid Baroque churches, and one of Europe’s largest medieval fortresses, Salzburg feels designed to keep its visitors happy. With around eight million sightseers prowling its cobbled lanes each year, the city can feel pretty touristy. You don’t go to Salzburg to avoid the tourists. You go to experience a town which, in spite of the crowds, is thoroughly enjoyable. Most of the happy tourists probably wouldn’t be here if not for Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, who spent much of his first 25 years in Salzburg. While some devotees make a pilgrimage to his birthplace (Geburtshaus), I prefer Mozart’s Residence (Wohnhaus) – a reconstruction of Mozart’s second home (his family moved here when he was 17). It’s the most informative Mozart sight in town. In the main hall – used by the Mozarts to entertain Salzburg’s high society – you can hear original instruments from Mozart’s time. Later rooms feature real artifacts that explore his loves, his intellectual pursuits, his travels, and more. After seeing where he lived, visit where he was baptized and later performed – Salzburg’s Cathedral, one of the first Baroque buildings north of the Alps. Built in just 14 years (1614-1628), the huge church amazed me with its harmonious architecture. When Pope John Paul II visited in 1998, some 5,000 people filled the cathedral (330 feet long and 230 feet tall). Sit under the dome – surrounded by the tombs of 10 archbishops from the 17th century – and imagine all four organs playing, each balcony filled with musicians…glorious surroundsound. Mozart, who was the organist here for two years, would advise you that the acoustics are best in pews immediately under the dome. While the cathedral is in the center of town, Salzburg’s Hohensalzburg Fortress towers 400 feet above the city. One of Europe’s mightiest castles, this fortress was never really used. That’s the idea. It was a good investment – so foreboding, nobody attacked the town for a thousand years. The city was never taken by force, but when Napoleon stopped by, Salzburg wisely surrendered. After a stint as a military barracks, the fortress was opened to the public in the 1860s. Today, it dominates Salzburg’s skyline and offers commanding views. The fortress visit has three parts: the fortress itself (with its chapel, towers, and fine views from its courtyard ramparts); the museums (fortress, marionette, and Rainer Regiment museums, plus the fortress armory); and the Regency Rooms – the richly painted and decorated royal apartments. Beyond its museums and castles, Salzburg is a world-class destination for live music performances. Each summer it hosts its famous Salzburg Festival (www.salzburgerfestspiele.at). But Salzburg is busy throughout the year, offering classical concerts in its palaces and churches. Pick up the events calendar at the tourist information office or check the events calendar at www.salzburg.info. I’ve never planned in advance, and I’ve enjoyed great concerts with every visit. Be warned: Salzburg is addicted to the tourist dollar, and it can never get enough. Virtually all hotels are on the take when it comes to concert and tour recommendations, influenced more by their potential kickback than by what’s best for you. Take their advice with a grain of salz. One excursion everyone seems to recommend is the “Sound of Music” tour, which is offered by several companies. They usually include a quick but good general city tour and then hit the movie’s highlights (including the stately home, flirtatious gazebo, and grand wedding church). Of the many companies doing the tour, consider Bob’s Special Tours (www.bobstours.com) and Panorama Tours (www.panoramatours.com). I took this tour skeptically and actually liked it, even though rolling through the Austrian countryside with 30 Americans singing “Doe, a deer…” is pretty schmaltzy. With its musical legacies, magnificent scenery, and rich history, Salzburg is a symphony – and you don’t have to climb every mountain to enjoy it. By Rick Steves travel Transportation Department launches tool to find free family seating on airlines The U.S. Department of Transportation on Monday said it has opened a new family seating dashboard online that will help passengers find airlines that will allow them to sit together without additional fees. The agency's dashboard will provide comparisons of services the airlines have committed to providing, which will assist consumers when deciding which airline to fly. Officials said it will make it easier for families to find out what airlines best fit their traveling arrangements. "Parents traveling with young kids should be able to sit together without an airline forcing them to pay junk fees," Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg said in a statement. "We have been pressing airlines to guarantee family seating without tacking on extra charges, and now we're seeing some airlines start to make this commonsense change. The move follows up on a promise by the Biden administration to make it easier for families to travel together after passengers have complained in the past about the increasing amount of fees charged by airline carriers. The Transportation Department said so far American Airlines, Alaska Airlines and Frontier Airlines have all guaranteed feefree group seatings for families. "All airlines should do this promptly, even as we move forward to develop a rule establishing this as a requirement across the board," said Buttigieg. Some airlines have started their own family seating services online. Last month, United Airlines said it will enhance the ability for families to sit together through a new online seating engine. That platform will allow customers to access features for family seating, reviewing available economy seating with optional complimentary upgrades. Salzburg’s Hohensalzburg Fortress looms 400 feet above Austria’s famous Baroque city.
Page 12 HAPPENINGS March 09, 2023 www.hap2it.com Experts warn against putting lip balm on eyelids Don't put lip balm on your eyelid, even if you saw it on TikTok. It's bad for your eyes, according to a Michigan Medicine expert. The trend first began back in the 2010s, but has seen a resurgence in 2023. Called "beezin'," because the trend is to use Burt's Bees lip balm in particular, some believe it gets them high, heightens the sensation of being drunk or high, or increases feelings of alertness. Rather, it can irritate the eyelids, causing redness, swelling and inflammation. If it ends up getting into the eyes, it can cause tearing, redness and painful burns to the surface of the eyes. It may even scar the eyes in severe cases or cause vision loss. It may also increase the risk of infection, especially if the balm was also used on the lips, because it may introduce viruses or bacteria into the eye. Cat rescued after 7- mile ride in engine compartment Firefighters in California came to the rescue of a cat that took a 7- mile ride in the engine compartment of a vehicle. The Modesto Fire Department said a call came in from a cat owner who reported hearing meowing coming from the engine of their vehicle after driving 7 miles from their home to the rodeo fairgrounds on the east edge of Modesto. Deputy Chief Darin Jesberg said crews arrived and discovered the caller's cat had crawled into the engine compartment and the feline's foot was caught in the transmission line. Firefighters were able to free the cat and reunite it with its owner. The cat suffered a minor foot injury and some singed hair, but is expected to make a full recovery. Message in a bottle floats from Nova Scotia to Bahamas beach A North Carolina man vacationing in the Bahamas found a message in a bottle that turned out to have been launched nearly 7 years earlier off the coast of Nova Scotia. Byron Miller said he was walking on a beach when he spotted a wine bottle containing a note protected by a sandwich bag. The vacationer used Facebook to connect with Pierce Atwood, one of the six fishermen from the boat that launched the bottle off the coast of Nova Scotia while cod fishing in July 2016. Atwood said he was surprised to learn of the bottle's long journey and its safe arrival in the Bahamas. $1 million winning lottery ticket spent the night in a bag of trash A Michigan woman said a $1 million lottery ticket she initially confused for a non-winner spent the night in a bag of trash before she decided to take a second look. The 30-year-old Clinton County woman told Michigan Lottery officials she bought a pair of Sizzling Hot 7's scratch-off tickets from Hansen's Quik Stop in Ovid. "I scratched the tickets when I got in my car and thought they were both non-winners, so I put them in a bag with some other garbage to throw away." The player said she didn't realize her mistake until the next day. "The next morning, I decided to look the tickets over one more time before throwing them away. When I saw I'd won $1 million, my heart started racing and I thought I was going to faint. I called my mom and my husband right away to tell them the good news!" the winner recalled. The winner said her prize money will go toward buying a house and making investments. Feds sue to block JetBlue, Spirit merger on antitrust grounds Jet Blue's acquisition of rival low-cost airline Spirit would lead to higher fares and fewer available seats for U.S. air travelers, state and federal authorities said in a lawsuit against the merger. Following a lengthy bidding war with Frontier Airlines, Jet Blue said last year it would buy Spirit Airlines for $3.8 billion to create the fifth-largest air carrier in the United States. But even after the deal was announced, it was revealed that Spirit executives had cast doubt over whether the merger would be approved by federal regulators. The Justice Department was joined by the attorneys general of Massachusetts, New York and the District of Columbia in turning those fears into reality. "As our complaint alleges, the merger of JetBlue and Spirit would result in higher fares and fewer choices for tens of millions of travelers, with the greatest impact felt by those who rely on what are known as ultra-low-cost carriers in order to fly," U.S. Attorney General Merrick B. Garland said. Federal data from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics show air fares are climbing, along with general consumer-level inflationary pressures. Third quarter 2020 rates, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, plummeted by nearly 30% from the previous year. From 2020 to 2021, however, prices spiked 22% and another 12.7% over the three-month period ending in September. Before the charges were filed, JetBlue said would-be travelers would be able to capitalize on lower fares through the merger, however, adding the two companies compete with the likes of Delta Airlines and United Airlines, and not each other. The so-called Big Four -- Delta, American Airlines, United and Southwest Airlines -- control 80% of the market, JetBlue argued. coast to coast Inflation shrinks the 2023 Iditarod field to smallest in race history Thirty-three mushers are off to the races in the 2023 Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, bound on a nearly 1,000-mile trail from Willow to Nome, Alaska. The field is the smallest in the 50-year history of the race. Inflation has caused some racers to turn away from the Iditarod this year. "I think that has to do with a confluence of factors," Iditarod CEO Rob Urbach told KTUU. "There is the economy -- I think our mushing community remembers when a bale of hay was 3 bucks, now maybe 20 bucks. A bag of kibble was maybe 20 bucks, now it's 60 or 70 bucks." Urbach said that several mainstays, including four-time champions Jeff King and Martin Buser, have taken a break from racing. The average field for the Iditarod is 63 mushers. The largest field was 96 in 2008. The grand prize for winning is $50,000. The race is expected to continue for at least eight days with the current trail spanning 998 miles. The projected firstplace finish will take place no sooner than March 13. The trail along what is called the "southern route" has not been used since 2019. Peter Kaiser of Bethel, Alaska, won the race that year, completing the trail in nine days, 12 hours, 39 minutes and six seconds. Race director Mark Nordman told Alaska Public Media the conditions on the trail are "very good." The southcentral portion of the route from Rainy Pass Lodge -- about 153 miles into the race -- has been hit with heavy snow.

March 9, 2023 through March 15, 2023 ARIES (March 21-April 19): Try not to lose focus; When it comes to navigating your life, a positive outlook and sincerity may be your best tools. This could be a wonderful time to be generous with your praise and thoughtful with your advice. TAURUS (April 20-May 20): You may find your aspirations grow stronger as the week unfolds. Hone your skills with diligent practice even if you are your own harshest critic. You should be well rewarded for every job done to the best of your ability. GEMINI (May 21-June 20): Trust in friends and loved ones to listen when you discuss your goals and issues. This might not be the time to obtain a firm promise, but you may gain the support and understanding of others. CANCER (June 21-July 22): An argument could cause hurt feelings. A key relationship may settle down and become less challenging if you work to avoid confrontations and remain patient. Try not to read too much into an innocent gesture. LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): When you are enthusiastic about innovative ideas, there may be a tendency to make broad over-generalizations. You might want to avoid making promises that are well meant but could be hard to fulfill. The wisest people may offer the best counsel. VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Making your mark in the material world could seem like a game to you. You may find yourself growing more ambitious. Using your charm and your common sense, you could develop successful strategies to reach your goals. LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): If your committed relationship needs a little extra attention, offer it. If single, you could have the desire to tell someone about your feelings. Embrace your braver side and put yourself out there. SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21): It’s always best for you to be sincere about what you do and do not say. It could be especially important when you are performing a job. Your coworkers might be depending on you to hold up your end of the bargain. SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): Good vibes may lead to victory, so allow yourself to get caught up in the rhythm of a project. You may remain upbeat and recharge your inner batteries by enjoying some indoor entertainment or a nature walk in the park. CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): Turn the kudos you can earn into cash. You could fill a quota or reach a milestone by being dedicated and persistent. There could still be time to perform favors and charitable deeds for loved ones. AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): Applying restraint and humility could put you on top if you face criticism from your boss or someone else. You can combat negativity by admitting mistakes and being committed to putting your best self on display. PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): You might want more than you can afford currently or feel you must be competitive. Remain contented with what you may already have. Trying to keep up with affluent trends may put you in a deficit and leave a dent in your wallet.
