KAFASI Expands
Programs

To better connect those 60+ in our community,
KAFASI’s Friendly Visitor added new services to
complement existing programs.

Virtual Connect is a peer led program which uses
the Zoom platform to host three programs
monthly.  Casual social group talks, special interest
programs and a technology program are featured
monthly.  The program expands the existing Senior
Center Without Walls (SCWOW) telephone
program to a new audience.  Both (SCWOW and
the new Virtual Connect) are designed to provide
those involved with socialization, information and a
greater sense of connectedness.  Whether you
prefer to connect over the phone or virtually we
have an option for you.

Another addition to the Friendly Visitor is Tech
Assist.  It provides answers to tech related
questions. Participants involved will receive support
and resources to help navigate basic technology
needs.  Tech Assist helps with a wide range of topics
including virtual appointments, answering security
concerns or connecting virtually with family and
friends.  Participants who utilize Tech Assist are
connected with a volunteer who will provide
assistance.

Friendly Visitor services are open to those 60 and
over. For information about these programs or if
you’d like to volunteer, contact KAFASI at 262-658-
