This picture was taken in March,1937, part of the C.E. Dewey collection, and at a this time Ann Street (Sheridan
Road) ended at Grand Avenue (52nd Street). The structure in the middle is all that remains as the last building still
standing from the Allen Tannery and located just west of Lou Perrine’s Gas and Grocery.

Starting Thursday, May 13th, the Kenosha History Center, 220 51st Place, will be open to the general public.
Masks will be required and other safety protocols will be in place, please be respectful of others when you
