WELCOME TO OUR TWENTY-FITH ANNUAL
INFORMATION PLEASE DIRECTORY

Information Please is published each year with the assistance of HAPPENINGS MAGAZINE. This
is our twenty-fifth edition of Information Please. It has been an honor to provide this needed infor-
mation to This publication allows you to find a variety of social service information in a familiar and
organized way. Agencies are listed alphabetically. They are then indexed in the back of the maga-
zine by service area.
We appreciate our community partners that help us make many of our services possible for the
Kenosha Community:

• Kenosha County Division of Aging and Disability Services
• Kenosha County Division of Health
• Kenosha County Division of Children and Family Services
Kenosha Human Development Services (KHDS) is proud to bring this directory to the community.
We hope that it assists people in accessing needed community services.
In July of 2020, KHDS will be moving to our new location at 3536 52nd Street, Kenosha,
Wisconsin, 53144.
We are very excited about moving to a new location. Our new facility will be fully accessible to the
community and we will continue to provide all our current services.
The Kenosha community has stepped up in our Help Us Help More campaign to raise money for the
necessities of moving into a new facility. KHDS has been very touched by the response from our
community.
Our phone will remain the same; only the location will be changing.
And, as always, you can reach our Crisis Hotline 24 hours a day at (262) 657-7188.

KHDS2020 The coronavirus (COVID-19) has resulted in an unprecedented
crisis that affects not only our physical health and daily lives,
but also our mental health. To address these needs, NAMI is
committed to providing credible information and resources to
help people navigate through this crisis.

Visit our website to find answers in the “NAMI COVID-19
Resource and Information Guide” to questions ranging from

how to manage anxiety during this difficult time, to how to
access medication while in quarantine, and to how to deal with

the loss of a loved one to COVID-19.

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Kenosha County
is a non-profit corporation, organized in 1983, working to
improve the quality of life through education, support, and

advocacy. We promote recovery and fight stigma associated
with mental illness. We offer an array of free services including

support groups, educational classes, workshops, trainings,
community presentations and advocacy that draw on the lived
experience of individuals who have experienced mental illness

in their lives.

ALL of our programs are FREE of charge. We are
an ALL volunteer group and we receive NO payment for our

service. We rely on the GENEROSITY of others and
DONATIONS to fund our programs.

Talk to someone who understands…
someone just like you.
