profit nature sanctuary and arbore-
tum owned and operated by the
Hyslop Foundation, providing envi-
ronmental education to all ages.
The 40 acres of varied terrain offer
2 miles of trails winding through the
woods of the Pike River Valley, a
12 acre Arboretum, a variety of gardens, and three historic build-
ings surrounded by prairie. The Friends of Hawthorn Hollow was
established in 1988 to help preserve, maintain and further
improve Hawthorn Hollow. Announcing the continuation of the
Pike River Benefit Concert Series Social Distancing Edition at
Hawthorn Hollow! Attendance is limited. There will be 50 tickets
available for purchase at $20 each. Please bring your own food
and beverages - but they will also have some concessions. This
concert will take place at the Hawthorn Hollow’s Pike House on
the new Ozanne Outpost property. There is plenty of space to
spread out and there will be different stations for each group/fam-
