Most of the time people litter because there is no dustbin nearby. Rather than feeling uncomfortable to carry the trash with them, people decide it is easier to leave it behind. The areas where littering occurs the most are recreational areas such as parks, beaches, courts, and open areas where people congregate for leisure activities. A lot of opportunities are created in these areas. Meanwhile, active residential or commercial construction sites become a trap for cigarette butts, paper, and plastic. As a responsible individual, there are some ways to prevent and eradicate litter. It is advisable to keep a litter bag in our car and hang on to a litter until you find a garbage receptacle. Furthermore, make sure your trash is secure. Newspaper, cans, and other light-weight waste materials can be easily picked up by the wind and scattered far away from the correct waste and recycling receptacles. As a responsible resident, we can participate in a community clean-up day. In addition, we can educate others by being a role model and work with neighbors to keep our area clean. We can also make good use of recycle bins.

XIV PART 4 Question 2 I watched the movie "The Maze Runner". It is based on a story written by James Dashner. "The Maze Runner" takes place in a place called the "Glade" located in the center of a huge maze made of stone, and every night the walls close around the Glade so the stone walls cans slide around to create a brand new maze. Most of the action takes place out in the maze at night when the Grievers come out. The Grievers are half machine and half animal, and will kill any person they find in the maze at night when the Grievers come out. The Grievers are half machine and half animal, and will kill any person they find in the maze at night with no mercy. The main character in the movie is a boy named Thomas. Thomas is very curious as to how he got the Glade, why everyone was sent here in the first place, and what life was like outside of the Glade where he actually had a family. The plot of the story is have Thomas and all of the other "Gladers" find their way out of the maze. The climax in the story is when all of the "Gladers" decide to make one last run for it and then everything becomes dysfunctional. I would recommend this movie to anyone, even if one does not like science fiction. This movie has an amazing storyline. It held my interest because it is full of suspense, especially when the characters had no choice but to run for their lives. The story wants us to learn that everyone has to work together to accomplish something huge. When we try a huge task on out own, we probably would not be able to do it, nut together we can do anything.

XVI PART 5 Question 1 I was sitting at the front door after dinner. It was a cool night and there was a bright full moon shinning in the sky. The night was bright. Suddenly, I observed some twinkling lights as if some people were shinning torches around. "What is happening? It it not likely that someone is being buried at night," I thought. Not very far from my grandma's house was a graveyard. That was not the first time that I noticed flickering lights at the cemetery. This had been going on for several days. At first, I didn't think that anything weird was happening, but what I saw at night had been playing on my mind. I decided to walk and survey the cemetery during the day time. It looked normal. There was no sign of people walking or doing anything there. My grandmother explained to me that it is an Iban custom to bury jewelry and other valuables together with their departed loved ones. I realized now that the light that I have been seeing every night must been the work of this group of men who were stealing jewelry from the dead bodies! "Adie, perhaps it's just the case of tomb raiders." "What tomb raiders?" I asked. "Yes, the other day I read the papers about a gang of tomb raiders," Gapur said. "What about them?" I asked again. "Well, a group of tomb raiders had damaged about forty graves in the past few months," Gapur explained. "Why did they do that?" I enquired. "They dug graves, forced opened the coffins, and stole jewelry and the other valuables buried together with the dead," Gapur said. "How come there is jewelry buried with them?" I asked. "I am not sure. Perhaps we should ask our parents or grandparents," Gapur suggested. "Yes, I will do that just that," I said. With that, he went home and asked his grandmother about it. From that day onwards, my family made sure I went to bed earlier every night. But I sneaked up and watched the lights. I wondered what was going on at the cemetery. "Are they ghosts? Is grandma right? How do I find out?" I thought to myself. I decided to tell my fried, Gapur. Gapur was my childhood friend. I would meet him each time I visited my grandma. I told Gapur to watch the graveyard in the middle of the night. Gapur areed and he to watched the graveyard at midnight. Then Gapur suddenly remembered something he read in the newspapers. He told me about it the next day. "Ah! They are the restless spirits. They are rising to revenge for their deaths. It is the full moon night," my grandmother said. Everyone believed her. She reminded them not to go near the graveyard. "But grandma, I even saw a car going to the cemetery at night. I heard the sounds of people talking," I said. "Adie, I warn you not to go near and not to talk about the spirits like that. If the spirits get irritated, you will be cursed," Grandma reminded. "But grandma, it cannot be," I said. "Adie! Stop it. Stop talking about it. Make sure that you sleep early every night. Forget about the cemetery," Grandma ordered. I told my parents that I had been seeing lights at the graveyard. When they did not believe me, I asked them to see for themselves. So, that night, all the family members stayed up and saw the lights. The cemetery was bare with hardly any trees around. Something weird happened the next day. I saw a freshly planted tree at one spot. At midnight, I sat again at the door and I saw the same lights.
