employees and the Idaho community they love. Work, home, travel, play: By the
Thompsons’ calculations they have spent more time together than the average couple in
their early 80s (and they still really like each other). Married since 1990 and with five hard-
working, kind and loving kids (Sarah, Mary, Emma, Owen and Grace), they are always
exploring new ways to keep Scentsy’s industry-leading opportunity strong and vibrant.
In 2004, $700,000 in debt and determined to avoid bankruptcy, the Thompsons decided to
“swing for the fences” to get out of debt while focusing on adding value to others’ lives.
Months later, they purchased Scentsy from two young moms in Utah.
What began as a small family business, run from a shipping container on a sheep farm,
has grown into an international fragrance company and direct sales leader.After almost a
decade of renting space for the growing company, Scentsy officially moved into its 73-
acre campus, Scentsy Commons, which officially became Scentsy’s home in 2013. Heidi
and Orville carefully designed the campus to be a warm, inviting, state-of-the-art space
for their employees, Consultants and the local community.The campus is full of friendship,
family and fragrance. It is always buzzing with activity: tours, bridge clubs, community

In many ways, it is a fulfillment of the promises made in the company’s mission statement.

Scentsy Family Foundation Scholarships are

awarded each school year. Since 2013, Scentsy
has awarded $225,000 USD in Scholarships.

It’s up to you. As a Scentsy Consultant, the more you work your business, the
more you can earn. You can make anywhere from a few hundred dollars a
year up to six figures a year selling Scentsy products. However....the amount
you make depends on the following factors:

Your personal level of commitment to the business.
How much time you are willing to invest in your business.
Your goals...what you want to achieve with the business.
Willingness to learn and grow.
Are you ready to become a leader and recruit a team?

Ultimately the amount that you can earn depends on you. You can earn a
little extra income or make a career out of Scentsy business depending on
what your personal goals are. Personally, I work my business full-time and
earn a substantial income that allows me to be home with my children and
be my own boss. There is absolutely nothing wrong with joining to simply
save a little money fulfilling your Scentsy addiction. Others become a
consultant with the goal of working from home full-time, being their own
boss and making A LOT of cash.

When you first sign up you earn 20%
commision on anything you sell. Once
you've sold for 1000 PRV
(personal retail volume) you become
a certified consultant you earn 25%
commission instead on 20%. You can
commission from your down line if you
so choose to become a team leader
and recruit new consultants. The
amount that you earn from your down
line depends on your rank as well as
theirs, see chart for a breakdown of
the Scentsy compensation plan.

WORK YOUR BUSINESS YOUR WAY 13

Everyone works their own business their own way. Some consultants
want to work full time and some just part time and then we have
consultants that just want to do it as a hobby and sell every now
and then. How much time you want to put
into your Scentsy business is up to you.

BONUSES

Building a team is the secret to a
successful Scentsy business. If you want to
be financially successful, BUILD A TEAM!! If
you don’t believe me, try it and see! I’ve
done it and it works!! I am here to teach
you to do the same. Nothing excites me
more than seeing my team grow and
become successful too!

Consultants have the opportunity to earn up to 30% on personal sales and
receive leadership bonuses of up to 9% of the entire downline volume of the
people you recruit and train. With just 1000 PRV in personal sales you promote
to 25% commission, on retail orders, and you never go back! Sell 2000 PRV in
any month and earn an additional 5%.

As a Directors, you can earn to infinity on all Consultants in your organization
who have no other Director in their up line.

REQUIREMENTS

A Consultant must have a monthly total of at least 200 PRV in personal sales
at least one month in a consecutive four-month period to be considered
current and keep your account active. That's it! That is a qualifying party
every 4 months.

PAY DAY

Scentsy deposits your commission on the 10th of each month to your pay
portal. You will receive your commission & bonuses for the total sales you &
your team (if applicable) made during the previous month.

A Scentsy pay card will be provided by Scentsy when you join. This is like a
Debit Visa card but only your commission can be loaded to it. You can use
your card to shop or withdraw from any Visa affiliated ATM. You can also
arrange to have your pay transferred to your bank account via the PayPortal.
