January 25th, 2016 Steel City Media announced a part-
nership with radio personalities, Rocket and Teresa, to
renew and extend their relationship with the company
as the morning show stars of the thriving “Rocket and

Teresa Show” on KMXV Kansas City’s Mix 93.3

Meet Rocket & Teresa, Kansas City’s loved
Morning Show on Mix 93.3 FM. Bringing
you funny personal stories, celebrity gossip,
news, and getting you to work in the morn-
ing with a smile on your face are just a few things Rocket
& Teresa accomplsih each day. Nearly every Kansas City
resident knows Rocket & Teresa, and if they don’t, they’re
probably a Broncos fan and shouldn’t be here anyway.

Rocket and Teresa were hired on January 31, 2000 MEET THE SHOW
by CBS Radio Inc. The Rocket and Teresa show
launched on Mix 93.3 with hosts: Rocket, Teresa,
and Ponch. The trio have led the ratings for 16
years as the most listened to show in Kansas City. Over
the years, the Rocket and Teresa show along with the Mix
staff, have raised millions of dollars for Kansas City char-
ities such as Children’s Miracle Network and Aids Walk.
The Rocket and Teresa Show partnered for the first time
in 1992 at KJYO KJ-103 in Oklahoma City.

Each year, Mix 93.3 holds the largest Pop Music Festival in Kansas City; Red, White &
Boom. Featuring such artists such as Flo Rida, Cash Cash, Andy Grammer, Tori Kelly,
Ariana Grande, and more! This outdoor music festival draws crowds from states all
around Missouri and Kansas and features a great venue to enjoy fantastic music, all
followed up with an amazing fireworks display. There is plenty of on-site presence
for advertisers and crowds exceeding 20,000 for one great evening of pop music.

In December of each year, Mix 93.3 hosts an indoor arena show titled “Mix
93.3’s Jingle Jam” which has featured fantastic artists over the past few years.
Adam Lambert, Pentatonix, Cody Simpson, Pink, Aerosmith and Fallout Boy.
This live event is promoted heavily for months in advance and listeners wait
each year to find out who will be performing at this year’s Jingle Jam concert.
