The barrier island real estate market came back to life in the week following Hurricane Irma, with 10
transactions recorded including two for more than $1 million.

The top sale of the week was of an oceanfront condo in the Orchid Island Golf & Beach Club. Residence
201 at 50 Beachside Drive was placed on the market Jan. 13 with an asking price of $1,950,000. The sale
closed Sept. 18 for $1,862,500.
