The early days of August brought no slowing of the barrier island real estate market with 18
transactions recorded this past week, including five for more than $2 million.

The top sale of the week was of an oceanfront estate in John’s Island. The home at 5 Sea Court was
placed on the market Feb. 12, 2015, with an asking price of $9.995 million. The sale closed on Aug.
3 for $9.55 million.
