Real Estate Sales on the Barrier Island: Aug. 11 to Aug. 17

The dog days of August saw continued strong real estate activity on the barrier island, with 12 transactions recorded
this past week, including two for more than $1 million.
The top sale of the week was of unit 105 in the townhome enclave of Ocean Park. The residence was placed on the
market Dec. 1, 2016 for $2.3 million, and the price was subsequently reduced to $2.15 million. The unit was sold on
Aug. 14th for $1.975 million.
The seller in the transaction was represented by Cindy O’Dare of Premier Estate Properties. The purchaser was
represented by Michael Thorpe of Treasure Coast Sotheby’s.
Correction: In our August 11th issue, this column was provided erroneous details on the sale of an
oceanfront home at 5 Sea Court for $9.55 million. While the seller in that transaction was represented by
John’s Island Real Estate, the purchaser was represented by Nancy Hardy of Premier Estate Properties.
