The week preceding Memorial Day was another banner one for the barrier island real estate
market with 14 transactions recorded, including eight for more than $1 million.
The top sale of the week was of a new custom home east of A1A in Pelican Cove. The residence at
915 Tulip Lane was originally listed a year ago for $2.35 million. The asking price more recently
was $3.5 million. The sale closed on May 20 for $3.7 million.
The seller in the transaction was represented by Joseph Schlitt and Joseph O’Neill of Douglas
Elliman Florida. The purchaser was represented by Cathy Curley of Dale Sorensen Real Estate.
