The barrier island real estate market turned in another strong showing the week leading up to
Independence Day with 13 transactions recorded, including 10 for more than $1 million.
The top sale of the week was of a condo in the Orchid Island Golf & Beach Club. Unit 102 at 40
Beachside Drive was placed on the market April 4 for $3.495 million. The asking price more
recently was $2.89 million. The sale closed on June 27 for $2.7 million.
