Real Estate Sales on the Barrier Island: Aug. 4 to Aug. 10

The first full week of August saw a slowing of real estate activity on the barrier island with seven
transactions recorded this past week, most of them condos.
The top sale of the week was of waterfront home in Riomar Bay. The home at 645 Lake Drive was
placed on the market Jan. 10 with an asking price of $2.6 million. The price was subsequently
lowered to $2.25 million. The sale closed on Aug. 7 for $1.8 million.
The seller in the transaction was represented by Alex MacWilliam IV of Alex MacWilliam, Inc. The
purchaser was represented by Patty Valdes, also of Alex MacWilliam, Inc.
