Presidents page Dear Esteemed Members,

I take this opportunity to thank you for your kind support and
guidance from time to time.

I take this opportunity to thank all the Central Council Members of
IRIA for attending the extra-ordinary Central Council meeting held on
9th December at large number despite no TA and accommodation by
IRIA. All the members present in the meeting took active part in the
discussion and contributed for reaching to a decision in the meeting.
Active participation of members in the CCM is a healthy sign for any
organization.

As already informed you that the association is facing a tough time
due to some rigging in its recent elections. IRIA HQ has filed Police
complaints to investigate and find the culprit at the earliest. In the
extraordinary Central Council meeting held on 9th December, it was
decided by majority of votes to complete the election process by
going for re-e voting with the same Candidates and E-voters. It was
also decided that the re-e voting shall be done by a reputed agency
and the same shall be validated by a Govt. approved agency so that
election is fool proof without any tampering. All security measures
should be taken to make the election fool proof.

It is my duty to ensure all the members that the association is in the
secure hands.

The progress of 72nd Annual Conference is in full swing. I request all
the members to attend the conference at large number to get the
best from the best Faculty.

I request all the members to follow the PC & PNDT Act in its letter
and spirit as it is the law of the land.

LONG LIVE IRIA!

Yours sincerely,

Dr. Mohanan K.
President, IRIA
