AOSR Report of AOSR Strategic Meeting held at Kuala Lumpur
I thank you very much for reposing faith in my abilities and to
depute me to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to attend the executive
council meeting of AOSR on 22 nd April, 2018. I attended the
meeting and as desired by President IRIA have put in front the
viewpoints of IRIA strongly and emphatically.

The main purpose of the 09-hour brainstorming meeting was
to find out ways to promote the AOSR so that eventually it is
considered at par if not better than ESR or RSNA. In this
meeting, I have stated on records that the following things
should be done to strengthen AOSR soonest:

1. To immediately start medical journal and a news bulletin of
AOSR.
2. To consider ways to increase income of AOSR including
hosting yearly congress instead of biannually and to consider
taking a percentage of gross collection from the host
association instead of fixed USD 20,000/-.
3. To ascertain ways by which adequate representation to
various member constituent national associations is affected.

I am feeling satisfied to communicate to you that all the above
suggestions were totally accepted by the present members.

In coming months a white paper shall be formulated by AOSR
office for study by various member national constituent
associations and after general consensus ways to proceed
ahead shall be decided.
