Course Contents • Introduction to workplace / workshop safety and health practice and basic first Aid • Basic principles of sound; generation and detection of sound; behaviour of sound in a material; the flaw detector; use of angled beam probes for weld scanning; welding processes and weld defects; practical exercises on test specimens containing simulated flaws; examination of parent plate, butt welds; instruction writing. • The course ends with the certification examination. • Training in accordance with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9712. Entry Requirement • Physically fit • Literate • Minimum have SPM with 3 credits (Mathematic, Physics & English) • Age 17–35 years old for Youth Programme • Age 18–55 years old for Construction Personnel Programme • Applicants must have working experience in Non Destructive Testing (NDT) for Construction Personnel Programme • Priority is given to applicants with Diploma in Engineering qualification • Possessed a valid Construction Personnel Registration Card and 6 months minimum experience in related field for Construction Personnel Programme Duration Construction Personnel Programme : 15 days Youth Programme : 20 days Kampus / Campus: ABM Program Personel Binaan/ Construction Personnel Programme Program Belia/Youth Programme ABM Wilayah Tengah ABM Wilayah Selatan ABM Wilayah Sabah ABM Wilayah Sarawak
