Post Abortion Treatment and Healing

Georgia’s HB 481 Bill Signed Into Law by Mary Ann McNeil

This year, 8 states have passed laws severely restricting access to

abortion. Georgia was one of these states, along with Ohio,

Mississippi, Kentucky, Alabama, Arkansas, Utah and Missouri.

Georgia's law limits abortion to 6 weeks gestation. It was nicknamed

"The Heartbeat Bill" because at 6 weeks the heartbeat can be

detected.

From Our Founder…

Mary Ann McNeil With spring, new life emerges. And like the changing seasons, PATH is experiencing new
growth. This past March PATH's director, Jody Duffy, stepped down. Jody has led PATH for the
past 3 years and brought her energy, humor, and love for the post abortive individual, as well as
knowledge of military veterans to the ministry. Before serving as Director, Jody served as a
volunteer with PATH since 2000. As Director, Jody took care of the many administrative tasks, but
was able to provide PATH with additional exposure, as she is an accomplished speaker. Jody
served as a lead speaker at 40 Days for Life kickoffs and spoke with Silent No More at the March
for Life in Washington DC. She fulfilled a dream to recruit other PATH participants to speak also,
and 3 PATH participants have joined her on the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court to do just that. In
addition, Jody has reached out to women military veterans, an underserved population, with post
abortion healing information. Jody will continue to serve PATH by assisting with phone intakes,
Bible Studies and retreats.

Rev. Mr. Michael K. Mobley, an Ordained Deacon in the Archdiocese of Atlanta, has taken the
reins as Director. Deacon Mike has volunteered with PATH since 2003 and has served on many
retreats and led Bible studies for post abortive men. Deacon Mike recently retired from his
position as Director of Religious Education at St. Stephen the Martyr Church in Lilburn. We
welcome Deacon Mike to this position and wish Jody well.

6th Annual Artsy Market Benefits PATH

PATH wishes to give a heartfelt thanks to the Women of St. Jude for hosting the Artsy
Market, a spring gift show which benefits PATH. Original greeting cards, jewelry,
artwork and homemade casseroles are among the offerings. Special thanks to Katy Asip
and Lourdes Davis for spearheading this fun and fruitful effort. This year’s Artsy Market
was held on March 21st and 22nd at St. Jude Catholic Church. PATH staffed an
information table to help spread awareness of our mission.
