India's youth stand as a beacon of hope to propel the nation towards a brighter future both in classrooms and beyond. Fuelled by initiatives like 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' and bolstered by education reforms like the National Education Policy 2020, Indian youth are ready to excel in all aspects of life. Government has also implemented transformative programmes like Skill India and Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana that are instilling the importance of skill development among the youth. India's sports sector is also undergoing a vibrant transformation powered by initiatives that catalyse this growth. Further, Indian athletes shined brightly in 2023 with stellar performances at both national and international events. At the Asian Games, they earned a historic stride of more than 100 medals while the Asian Para Games also saw an overwhelming tally of more than 110 medals. The first-ever Khelo India Para Games were hosted in 2023 in order to nurture the dreams of young para-athletes and making them the champions of tomorrow.


Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, India has witnessed a transformative change from women development to women-led development, recognizing the integral role of Nari Shakti in the nation's progress. The Government's comprehensive strategy involves lifecycle-based empowerment programmes, addressing socioeconomic barriers at different stages of women's lives. Initiatives like PM Awas Yojana, PM Ujjwala Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission, Jal Jeevan Mission, Standup India, PM MUDRA, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, POSHAN Abhiyaan demonstrates a multifaceted commitment to women's welfare and empowerment. The Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam ensures women’s political participation for inclusive and broad-based policy-making. The Government's success is evident in the improvement of Sex Ratio, achievements in sports, and increased participation of women in STEM fields, marking a shift from women being as passive recipients to active change makers.


Agriculture and its allied activities have always been the key elements of India’s socio-cultural life and economy. Indian agriculture has received new impetus, guided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Beej Se Bazaar Tak” approach, which stands out for its comprehensiveness. Recognizing the importance of millets, Government of India spearheaded the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) resolution for declaring the year 2023 as International Year of Millets. A special emphasis has been laid on improving the lives and livelihoods of Indian farmers with initiatives like PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana. Schemes like National Mission on Natural Farming (NMNF), e-NAM, usage of Nano Urea and the introduction of the Agricultural Infrastructure Fund have been instrumental in uplifting the farmers by not only boosting cultivation and increasing farmers’ income but also establishing India as a global marketplace with its wide-ranging products.

A noteworthy example is the commemoration of November 15 as Janjatiya Gaurav Divas, celebrating Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s Jayanti to honour the contributions of tribal freedom fighters to the nation. This recognition not only fosters a sense of pride but also highlights their pivotal role in nation-building. Additionally, the establishment of 10 new Tribal Freedom Fighter Museums reflect Government's commitment to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of these communities. Further, the implementation of the Eklavya Model Residential School scheme reflects a dedication to providing quality education and at the same time fostering holistic development through special provisions for sports training and skill development for tribal students. These initiatives reflect a commitment towards empowering tribal communities for a brighter future.


Indian government is committed to ensuring that no one is left behind in the journey towards Viksit Bharat. Government initiatives like Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana is ensuring free foodgrains availability to everyone. Initiatives like PM SVANidhi, PM MUDRA and Standup India support the rising entrepreneurs so that every Indian can achieve a life towards financial independence and empowerment. PM Ujjwala Yojana breathes life into healthier homes, allowing women to cook in smokeless kitchens, freeing them from harmful fumes and igniting a new chapter of well-being. Jal Jeevan Mission, with its focus on providing piped, potable water to every rural household, is alleviating the daily drudgery of women and children who were previously forced to travel long distances for basic water needs. Similarly, PMAY's concrete houses are replacing dilapidated shelters, offering poor families not just protection from the elements but also a sense of dignity and ownership. With a steadfast focus on inclusion and empowerment, India marches towards a tomorrow where every dream finds its wings.


The Government aims to uplift the standard of living and ensure a dignified life for its citizens through various initiatives. These include homeownership facilitated by the PM Awas Yojana, access to basic amenities such as piped water through the Jal Jeevan Mission, provision of clean cooking fuel via PM Ujjwala, sanitation amenities through the Swachh Bharat Mission, electricity availability under the Saubhagya & UJALA Yojana, and financial security through insurance, tax benefits, and improved access to public utilities. Moreover, to enhance transportation and daily commute for the common man, a record number of metro rail projects have been sanctioned. India's healthcare landscape witnessed a paradigm shift through bold Government initiatives aimed at ensuring accessible and quality healthcare for all. Flagship initiatives like Ayushman Bharat which provides free health insurance to over 55 crore Indians is ensuring that quality healthcare is within every citizen’s reach. Over 1.6 lakh Ayushman Arogya Mandir are delivering comprehensive range of healthcare services. In addition to these, the National Sickle Cell Anaemia Elimination Mission launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister to eliminate sickle cell disease as a public health problem. Further, Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu launched the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan to realise the vision of Prime Minister to end TB in the country by 2025 five years ahead of SDG target of 2030. India's commitment to Health for All is grounded in unwavering optimism and determination to achieve a healthier and fulfilling future for all its citizens.

The confluence of Kashi - Tamil Sangamam further contribute to support and promote India’s heritage, and strengthening the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat.


The quality of a country’s infrastructure is a key determinant in shaping its economic trajectory. Keeping this in mind, the Government has kept infrastructure at the heart of its development agenda. This commitment is evident in the remarkable feats achieved, such as building the world's tallest statue, the Statue of Unity, constructing the highest railway bridge, the Chenab Bridge, and completing the world's longest highway tunnel above 10,000 feet, the Atal Tunnel. With a resolute emphasis on last-mile connectivity, state-of-the-art infrastructure has been created all over India. A record has been set for daily highway construction, enhancing accessibility to the remotest parts. Rural areas have experienced widespread road access, and the expansion of Indian railways through electrification and line doubling has significantly increased capacity. Noteworthy successes include the introduction of the indigenous Vande Bharat Express, marking a triumph for 'Make in India.' Dedicated efforts have also transformed air travel through the RCS-UDAN scheme. This comprehensive approach showcases the Government’s commitment to robust and holistic infrastructure development.


India is rising as a superpower in the field of science and technology with an array of achievements in the year 2023. Chandrayaan 3 achieved a historic soft landing on the Moon's South Pole on August 23, 2023, marking a significant milestone. This remarkable stride reflects India's burgeoning space exploration ambitions. SemiconIndia 2023 was also launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for paving the way for India to become a major player in the global chip market. India's BHIM UPI has transcended borders, allowing seamless cross-border payments and propelling the nation to the forefront of the Digital Public Infrastructure revolution. Atal Tinkering Labs and Start Up India are inculcating an innovative mindset in young minds. From school labs to community hubs, India is nurturing a new generation of inventors and entrepreneurs. The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 15 November 2023 from Khunti, Jharkhand, is a nationwide grassroots campaign that reflects the ironclad resolve of every Indian to make India a developed nation. By traversing the length and breadth of the country, the yatra is informing citizens about various welfare schemes, empowering them to claim their rightful benefits. From free healthcare to housing and sanitation, the Yatra ensures these programs reach the farthest corners, leaving no one behind. The yatra ensures that everyone from the bustling urban skylines buzzing with innovation to rural villages humming with newfound opportunity, the nation marches towards a Viksit Bharat.
