GOLD PAGE Mazal Tov to all the honorees on this well-deserved honor! Thank you for everything you have done and continue to do for the community. Mirasha & Noam Guests of Honor receiving the Herbert Harwitt Community Builder Award Mirasha, I knew you before you were famous (running the shul). Your dedication to the shul is unmatched and I cannot think of anyone better for guest of honor, especially not last year's honoree ;). I applaud your work in the office, for the family life committee, and for the preschool, among so many other things. I also especially appreciate your support in the construction project. Noam, we all know this honor is really about Mirasha, but I do appreciate our post hashkama l’chaims. I also look forward to seeing Abey and Jackie dressed up. Daniel & Eleorah Rabbi Yehuda Hilewitz z"l Memorial Award Danny and Eleorah, it has been great getting to know you through your first joint and later alternating hashkama attendance. You have both served on the board and contribute ritually: Danny through leining and davening (thanks for all your help with early mincha - you make my job easier especially when your fellow honorees are away) and Eleorah through your service on the gabbi committee. I love our long post hashkama chats and your children always make me smile. Thanks for all the advice on YU parking! Rabbi Akiva & Chaya Sima & Family Keter Shem Tov I am not sure where to start; there is so much your family does for Mount Sinai. Akiva, Yosef, and Dovid, thank you for all the leining and davening you do for hashkama and early mincha and for your berchas kohanim on yom tov. Special shoutout to Dovid who makes havdala for me (also the whole shul) more than 80% of weeks. Zvi, your dedication to torah and mitzvot is inspiring. I see you davening with kavana next to your father, attending shuirim even after your bed time, and volunteering for anything ritual you can. Leah, it’s always a pleasure to see you at hashkama. Bina and Moshe, you are still small but considering the footsteps you are following I expect great things. Whenever you make an appearance at kiddish it always ups the cuteness factor. Dr. Chaya Sima, your dedication to family and community is beautiful. You should be proud of everything you and your family has accomplished. Kayla Community Service Award Kayla, you have done so much for the shul throughout your years in the Heights. From serving on board, helping to setup kiddish, chairing the chessed committee, and running the blood drives. I feel lucky to call you a friend.
