TheBayClubThe Bay Club, nestled in the quintessential coastal town of Mattapoisett, MA, first openedit’s doors in 2004. Since it’s inception, the Bay Club has offered a wide range of private Clubbenefits including a full suite of amenities, such as 18-holes of championship golf, four HarTru tennis courts, 3 pickleball courts, two paddle courts, a fitness center, two diningdestinations and a variety of social and family programming. RulesC L U BMembers are to conduct themselves in a manner whichwill not interfere with the enjoyment of the Club byother Members or guests. Anyone on Club premisesacting in a disorderly, disruptive or offensive mannerwill be asked to leave. Members are responsible for theconduct and dress of their family members and guests,including children, and will be held accountable for theiractions. The General Manager may take appropriateaction for unbecoming behavior and behavior whichmay result in the disturbance of or damage to Clubproperty. Members who act in a manner prejudicial tothe welfare of the Club or other Members, or inviolation of these Rules, Club policies or theMembership Bylaws, may be subject to disciplinaryaction as specified in the Membership Bylaws.DRESS CODE - It is expected that Members will dressin a fashion conforming to the surroundings andatmosphere provided in the setting of the Club and willadvise their guests accordingly. Management reservesthe right to make changes to the dress code whennecessary. Exceptions may also be made for specialevents and any changes will be posted in connectionwith such events. Please refer to the Club Rules &Regulations for further details.GUEST PRIVILEGES - All Members are entitled tolimited guest privileges subject to any applicable guestfees and any additional guest policies established by theClub. Guests must be registered before accessing Clubamenities. Guests must be accompanied by a Member,however, unaccompanied guest privileges may bepermitted. We ask members familiarize their guests withthe Membership Bylaws and Club Rules prior to theiruse of the Club and Club amenities.
Members are responsible for the conduct and dress of their guests, any and all charges incurredby their guests and any damage caused by their guests. Guests may use the same facilities thesponsoring Member is entitled to use, subject to any limitations imposed by the Club. Guestprivileges to any individual may be denied, withdrawn or revoked at any time for reasonsconsidered sufficient in the sole and absolute discretion of the Club. Persons who have beensuspended or expelled from the Club or whose memberships have been redeemed by the Club arenot entitled to guest privileges.CHARGE PRIVILEGES - The Club reserves the right to suspend or place limits upon aMember’s charging privilege at the Club or to require a deposit from a Member. Shouldcollection of Member’s account become necessary, Member agrees to pay all reasonable costs ofcollection.
RESERVATIONS - Reservations are encouraged for dinner. Please keep in mind walk-ins maynot always be accommodated based on volume. Reservations may also be required for specialevents. Reservations will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis and can be arrangedthrough the Member Portal or via the Bay Club App.CANCELLATIONS - Members who make reservations for social events and cancel less than 48hours before the event will be charged for that event. Members who make reservations for asocial event and do not attend will be charged.GRATUITIESFor the convenience of all members, a HouseCharge, will be added to all food andbeverage sales. A member may increase thepercentage by signing the ticket invoice andchanging the amount as the member deemsappropriate. The House Charge includesserver gratuity and administrative fees.Dininga t B A Y The Golf House at the Bay Club with its light-filled atrium is a charming place to gather withfriends and take in views of the first fairway and club surroundings. At night, the intimatesetting is a perfect backdrop for enjoying our culinary team's exquisite menus whichincorporate ingredients from local farmers, fishermen, and purveyors of fine foods to createcuisine unmatched in the area. In the milder months, lunch or dinner on the patio offers viewsof the course and the waterfall adjacent to the practice green.PARKING- Parking for the Golf House Restaurant is located in the Golf Shop parking lot. Wehave 2 Handicap spots in front of the restaurant. Additional parking is permitted at the shells infront of the restaurant after 6:00pm for those members and guests that require additionalassistance and a closer proximity to the entrance. We ask all other members to drop off theirparty at the front door and park in the golf shop parking lot. There are designated spaces at theshells for golf carts. It is important that these spaces are left available and reserved for golf cartuse only. When available, the golf course shuttles will transport members to and from the frontdoor. Please refrain from parking in the cul-de-sac behind the restaurant during the season, this isa very busy area with deliveries. Staff needs to be able to access additional storage areas as well.ATTIRE- We recognize the dining room may often be filled with diners in golf clothing, a sportcoat, and/or denim and we ask all members to be accepting and understanding. That said,effective Friday of Memorial Day Weekend, no denim with be permitted in the dining room onFriday and Saturday through Labor Day. Denim will remain permitted on Fridays andSaturdays but seating will be on the patio. Additionally, no t-shirts, bathing suits or any clothingitems with holes are not permitted in the restaurant. Lastly, gentlemen, please remember toremove your caps when entering the dining room.CELLPHONE USE IN RESTAURANT- Please refrain from making cellphone calls in ourrestaurant. We ask that you make or accept any call outside the building to avoid any disturbance tofellow members and their guests.
Golfa t B A Y C L U BGETTING STARTED - All Full Golf Memberships are able to set up a handicap, obtainbag storage and set up tee times via the Golf Shop or through the Bay Club App.DRESS CODE - Men: Shirts with collars and sleeves, slacks and Bermuda length shorts orany currently accepted golf fashion are considered appropriate attire. Tank tops, tee shirts,mesh shirts, sweatpants, warm-up suits, denim, swimwear, short shorts, cut-offs, gymshorts, tennis outfits or other athletic shorts are not permitted for golf.Women: Skirts, slacks, appropriate length shorts, blouses and shirts with collars and sleevesor any other currently accepted golf fashion are considered appropriate attire. Halter tops,tee shirts, cutoffs, sweatpants, warm-up suits, denim, swim wear, tennis dresses, or otherathletic shorts are not permitted for golf.GOLF POLICIES - Golf carts should remain on paths when leaving tee box area until theyarrive at white tipped wooden posts, then carts may exit the path and move towards theirball. Carts must always observe all cart signage, rope, and stakes. Carts should proceedback to the path at the second white tipped wooden post closer to the green. Players shouldenter and leave bunkers at the nearest level point to the green and smooth sand over with arake upon leaving. Rakes are to be left teeth in and handle out in an accessible spot. Pace ofplay, cell phone policy, golf course care, and additional guidelines are available in our rulesand regulations document.
MEN'S LEAGUES, JUNIOR PROGRAM & WOMEN'S GOLF - The Bay Club offers avariety of programs for our Golf members based on gender, age, and skill level. The Golf Shopis available to make recommendations for programs as well as introductions to member groups.MEMBER TOURNAMENTS - The Golf Shop will post sign up sheets for registration of allMember tournaments. The Bay Club communicates via the weekly golf email to members allupcoming events and deadlines. Registration will be available for all member tournaments onthe golf calendar and tee sheet. Registration for all major events will close three (3) days priorto event.

RacquThe Bay Club is home to four Har-Tru clay courts (two of which are lighted), two lighted paddlecourts and introduced in Summer 2024: three pickleball courts.Members can either book court time through the Club’s Tennis Shop or via the Bay Club app.Private instruction, group clinics and classes are offered daily so be sure to join the fun!A T B A Y
GETTING STARTED - Please contact the Tennis Shop to arrange a time to visit thecourts, capture an overview of current programs on this years racquets calendar or learnabout the various services such as equipment purchases, re-stringing and special orders.DRESS CODE - Proper tennis attire is required at all times on the courts. Such attire asjeans, gym shorts, halter-tops, and mesh shirts are not permitted.TENNIS POLICIES - The Club obtains a strict cancellation policy for reserved courts.Members who reserve a court and do not cancel within a 24-hour time period may besubject to a late fee. ProgrammingCLUB SEAHORSE- Our predominantly sports oriented summer club offered to childrenand grandchildren of Bay Club members between the ages of 4 & 10. Tennis, golf andswimming will be offered daily as well as traditional club activities such as arts & crafts,games, and outdoor sports. Guests or extended family members may be allowed at thediscretion of the Club.BINGO NIGHTS- Try your luck on Thursday nights poolside! Enjoy a family friendlyevening of bingo by the pool. This weekly summer tradition has been a hit year after year atthe Club so come on down and enjoy!WINTER GOLF- Even though Golf season may have come to a close there are still some creativeways to improve your game at the Winter Indoor Golf Center!SEASONAL FAMILY EVENTS- From friendly summer night Cornhole tournaments togingerbread house making during our annual Breakfast with Santa event in December, there arecountless opportunities for our members to create & build lasting relationships and experiencemagical moments with their families. The Club requires all checks be signed by the Member.GRATUITY/SERVICE CHARGE - For the convenience of all members, a HouseCharge, as determined from time to time by the Club, will be added to all food andbeverage sales. The House Charge includesserver gratuity and administrative fees.DELINQUENT ACCOUNTS - The failure of any Member to pay the required dues or feeswithin the prescribed time period shall constitute grounds for such Member’s suspension orexpulsion from the Club. If a member fails to pay any Club account within 30 days of whenit is first billed, the Club shall have the right to suspend membership privileges in the Clubat any time until the delinquent account is paid in full. Continued delinquency for a periodof 90 days from the date a Club account is first billed or repeated incidents of delinquencyby a member may result in suspension or termination of membership in the Club.STATEMENTS - An itemized statement of any dues and assessments and current chargesshall be mailed monthly to each Member and any such statement which is not paid in full tothe Club within thirty (30) days from the date of such statement shall be deemed delinquent.Delinquent statements will accrue a late payment charge of one and one-half percent (1.5%)per month, compounded, (but not to exceed the maximum amount permitted by law) fromthe date of the statement until paid in full. The failure of any Member to pay dues or anyother amounts owed to the Club within the prescribed period shall constitute grounds forthe Member’s suspension or expulsion from the Club.PAYMENT OPTIONSCHECK- Checks may be mailed to:Bay Club at Mattapoisett | P.O.
