2016 Camp Meeting Booklet

2016 Camp Meeting Booklet

MESSAGE from the President

Dear Fellow Believers,

2016 REACH ACROSS BC Conference Camp Meeting is a reality - you
are here and you came ready to receive God’s messages for your life.

Thank you for listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit, who inspired you to
take this decision and make your way to Camp Hope, our Conference
Sanctuary. I am personally convinced that this experience will enhance
your spiritual journey as you walk in faith with the Lord.

Preachers and presenters have prayed (and so have we) so that
God can use them powerfully to bring to you and all of us fresh and
encouraging messages. Many people worked directly and indirectly for
these moments: 9 days of spiritual uplifting and fellowship with God and
His children, your family.

Please pray for the spiritual success of these meetings in your life and in
the lives of your brothers and sisters in the faith.

REACH ACROSS means caring enough about each other to grow
together as a family and being effective to reveal/share Jesus’ love as a
community of faith.

Welcome to these Holy Grounds!

Let God speak to your heart and the transformation that He intends to
make in your life will take place, right here and during these days! Are
you ready for these blessings? God has much more to offer you… (Jer.
29:11-13).

Blessings,

Wesley Torres

What is REACH?

REACH is a strategic initiative framed around five core values that
characterize the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
And because REACH is a framework, the ministry application of the five
core values is highly contextualized and localized.
These five core values matter to us. Like a common language, they
provide clarity and focus to guide ministries throughout the local
church, local school and our Conference.

OUR VISION

Helping local churches and schools grow God's
Kingdom in British Columbia & the Yukon

OUR MISSION

To REACH British Columbia and the Yukon
with a Christ-centred message of HOPE and
WHOLENESS

THEME SONG

Make Me A Servant

Written by Kelly Willard

Make me a servant
Humble and meek
Lord let me lift up
Those who are weak
And may the prayer
Of my heart always be
Make me a servant
Make me a servant
Make me a servant today

Working together, in unity
REACHING ACROSS
In sweet harmony
Give me Lord Jesus
Your heart, may I be
Always a servant
Make me a servant
Make me a servant today
