Arianna's life
What made me, me!,
My Birth: January 28th, 2004
It was January 28, 2004. It was a cold and rainy day. At around 5 PM
my mother started to have contractions. My father was at work so my
mother called my grandmother so she could take her to the hospital.
My grandmother was driving and my mom was in the backseat. My
grandmother was afraid she was going to go to fat so when she went
over speedbump's she would go very slow and my mom was yelling
at her telling her to go faster since the pain was really hurting. When
my mom finally got to the hospital my dad was there and you are my
going to be mean or downstairs because she was working at the
pharmacy downstairs when she came at the doctor insisted her to
stay. But this time it was 19:27 and I was finally born.
Saying Bye to Being Shy
The summer of 2014 my grandma took my two cousins, and I to
Knotts Berry Farm. It was my very first time going there or any
amusement park so that meant that was my first roller coaster I was
very nervous going on my first roller coaster. I could feel the
anticipation as I was moving closer and closer in line. We were in
camp snoopy and I didn't know that this is where all the little kids go
so I thought it was going to be the scariest roller coaster ever. When I
rode it I was yelling and screaming at my cousin sitting right next to
me who is giggling and laughing telling her to get me off of this ride.
When the ride was over everyone was laughing and I was the only one
who was terrified. After that I slowly started going on the bigger rides
and by the end of the night I was going on every ride I could. Before
that night I use to be extremely shy but after that day I came out of
my shell and realized I didn't want to be shy anymore.
I'm a Big Sister Again
On July 28, 2012 my baby brother Sergio was born. I was at my
house, on the couch with my mom. We were talking about the baby
and then all of a sudden she started having contractions. I yelled to
my grandma to take us and, my mom, stepdad, and I rushed to the
car. When we arrived to the delivery room my mom was laying on the
bed and my stepdad was looking at my mom with a scared face. They
had a little couch there so I sat there while doctors and nurses came
in and out. We were at the hospital for about an hour now so we get a
call that my older brother thinks he broke his leg and is on the
sidewalk laying down because he can't get up from his leg. My
grandma was hesitant to get him because she was afraid she was
going to miss the baby. My brother must have sat on the sidewalk for
about half an hour until my mom finally convinced my grandma to get
him. When my brother came to the room he was in a wheelchair and
my mom said “aye aye aye”. I wanted to laugh but I held it in. My
brother got out of the wheelchair and sat next to me on the couch
with a little blanket since it was cold. We cuddled next to each other
until the doctor told us we had to leave because my mom was going
to have a c-section.
I Feel Better Now
At first I was hesitant to put this in on my magazine, but if this is a
what makes me magazine, then this definitely comes on perfect. I'm
usually embarrassed and uncomfortable about talking about this but I
need to embrace it. Between 2012 through 2015 I went to therapy. It
wasn't my choice but the judge I had made it a requirement. At first I
felt like I didn't need it but now that I look back I've realized that I
needed that. The reason why I went there was because I had to talk
about my parents and the situation they put me through. If I never
went I think I would've been very depressed and still shy. Therapy
helped me get through the hard times. Therapy helped me with
breathing techniques and what I should do when I get anxiety attacks.
Although I sometimes get anxiety attacks I know how to maintain
them.
