Dear leaders,


Legacy is not leaving something for people. It’s leaving something in
people. — Peter Strople


As you’ll must have correctly guessed, the theme of the 2nd edition of
our bulletin is about Legacy. As human beings, we always act in a
manner that people will remember us for the good things we do and
the legacy we leave behind. The legacy of our District has successfully
been digested and absorbed by others in ways that were not expected
at all. From creating landmark projects at the beginning to having the
first ever district convention NOOR up till now, only has set bars
higher.

The name of our bulletin ‘Communiqué’ stems from the very fact of
continued legacy which has been passed down from generations to
generations to us. The office bearers and the community at large have
both played a vital part in molding us as one of the best districts all
around the world. The legacy of the clubs within our district has also
been one of the most important pillars of our budding success.


The Secretarial Team throughout the years have continuously evolved
and adapted in different ways in which the clubs and their members
feel at ease and feel no additional pressure. This year there have been a
lot of different things that we as the secretarial team have done – from
a change in pattern with the reporting format to having full
transparency with the clubs.


In this bulletin, you will find various highlights of the initiatives done
by the clubs to engage with the community and a way through which
we can communicate successes of all the clubs which are part of us,
without whom we are wouldn’t have been able to pass on our legacy
which helps us to inspire the humanity within us and people around
us.

Dear Lions and Leos


Greetings to all. Its been a very proud moment for me to get this
opportunity to design this 2nd Edition of Secretarial E-Bulletin. I
started my journey in Leoism before 2 years and seriously wanna
say that I have learnt a lot of things from Leo Movement itself. The
way to built leadership, excellence and opportunity in my life has

helped to become a successful person.


Now, I present you the Secretarial E-Bulletin COMMUNIQUÈ for Leo
District 3231-A3(2021-2022). Communiqué the word itself suggest
'Statement or Declaration'. Communiqué is a secretarial bulletin
which shows us the brief of the activities done by clubs.


By inspiring the humanity inside you to do some new innovations is
the motto of our district. So, Always be unique and motivate
yourself and others to do good things.


As the Editor for this E-Bulletin I would like to say that this bulletin
will help you to do more and more activities and pitch new ideas. It
will give you all the qualities and motivation which a LEO requires.

INTRODUCTION





“When it comes to innovation, an ounce of execution is worth more

than any ton of theory.”




Over the years, Leo District 3231-A3 has seen remarkable leaders,

leaders who changed the course of history, leaders whose

ambitions broke all the barriers, and leaders who simply became

one with the idea of Leoism i.e Leadership, Experience and

Opportunity.
These leaders and their extinguished teams have contributed

immensely towards the growth of the movement paving a learning

pathway for our young leaders.

Extremely powerful initiatives such as Leo Leadership

Conclave,Dustbin Installation,Akshaypatra , Leo Flea, Mission

16000 to NOOR; these ideas and innovations stemming from the

ambitions of our District Presidents have inspired Leos from all

walks of life and

It is from this legacy that we learn and perceive the true essence of

Leoism.

As an ode to these nostalgic memories and benefaction, the District
Secretarial team of Leoistic Year 2021-22 has come up with the

2nd Edition of their bulletin - “Communiqué”.

With this edition, we have tried to highlight the growth and

learning’s of our predecessors In the words of our Past District

Secretaries who have very kindly helped us recreate an era.

Ergo, With colossal pride, we as a team hereby put forth this

experience, this Declaration by the secretaries for the secretaries.

Dear Leo's,



To begin with, I would like to congratulate our District
President Leo Rahul Narula for having such a successful

year and once more, exceeding everyone's expectation by
over achieving for our amazing district.

Leo movement has been an important part of my life and
every memory we created in leoism will always be close to
my heart. It has made me a better person in the most

important years of my life. Whether it was about

organizing fellowship meetings or executing service
projects, all efforts taken and hardwork done has paid off
in making me the person I am today. I'll be forever grateful.

During my dist. secretial year we had lot of aspirations for
the district and we did 'Transcend our boundaries'.

Seeing our district achieve all the glory it has today, I feel
nothing but immense pride in being a part of it, today and
forever.

The journey of Leo's is to have an opportunity in
experiencing how to be good future leaders and moreover

be better humans. I would like to put it in better words as,
"You can stop being a part of leoism but, Leoism inside you

will never die."

Leo in itself is a journey beyond words and holding any
position here is an honor.



Being the District Secretary of Leo District 3231 A3 was an
experience in itself. It made me see the working of an

administrative body with a close lens and made me realise
how every action has to be taken with a lot of

responsibility. These actions can drive the members of the
District and our fraternity at large.



In this one year I have got a chance to explore my potential
and have been able to guide many in some way or the other

in order to grow together. It made me understand the
power of team work makes the dream work and most of all

perform my best during tough situations and handle the
pressure. In this process the relations within the fraternity
have grown and I can now say I have friends for life. I have

met so many people and each of them is so unique and
together we grow to make a proud Leo.

Representing the District at various occasions gave me a
chance to grow and I count that as a successful part of my

journey. The Leo District has seen a lot of stages and I am
happy to have contributed in my way.

D I S T R I C T S E C R E T A R Y 2018-19

I am extremely honored to present my thoughts and ideas on
working with the Lions International Organization and working

for its Youth Wing LEO International as a District Secretary for
District 3231 A3 for the year 2018-19.
In 2017, the Leo District took an enormous responsibility of
taking 1000 underprivileged children to watch the FIFA under
18 World Cup. India was hosting a series of matches and one of

the Advisors for the LEO movement presented us with
sponsorship for the tickets. I remember how big a task it was to
coordinate and manage to take these buses from around the city

and take them to Navi Mumbai to see the match. For us
individuals who are going to see a live match, this experience is
not as exhilarating as it is one of many you can add to the list,
but, when we returned, I had coordinated with a couple of
Orphanages in Bandra, and all the Wardens of these orphanages

gave their humble appreciation for the fact that we gave their
children this big opportunity and boosting their confidence in
making them go through this experience of watching a live

match at such a young age. He called me a part of the family and
that meant the world to me. That word, 'Family' stuck around
resonating in my mind for the longest time. And now when I
look back to the works as District Secretary or as a simple
grassroot Leo, all I think of is the fact that I am doing it for my

Family, the family which I have gained in this Movement, the
blessings which we have received from the numerous lives we
have touch, the joy and smile we have given to the numerous

souls who have connected to us, the ability to stand and be
quintessential parts of the world by directing and managing
multiples lives. We stand above it all and together for all, cause
we are a big Family, trying to transform the world, one bit at a
time.

Firstly, thankyou to Leo Janhavi & her team for this

opportunity to be a small part of the wonderful secretarial
bulletin.



I was the District Secretary for Leo District 3231 A3 in the
Leoistic year 2019-20 under the leadership of Leo

Shwetank Maheshwari. At that time, we were just a budding
district dealing with a lot of inactive clubs. There were
several challenges that were to be addressed but one at the

top of my list was 100% Reporting at the Multiple &

International. Together with my team & the amazing Club
secretaries, we were able to achieve this goal.



The overall experience had been fantastic. There were
plenty of new learnings and experiences which helped me

become a better leader & gave me confidence to take up
other leadership positions. The one thing that I'd treasure
the most is the way our Micro bonded throughout the year.

An icing on the cake was when we won the Best District
Secretary at the Leo Multiple Awards.

Greetings!

Firstly, I would like to congratulate Leo Janhavi Ratnakar
and her entire team for coming up with an amazing
Secretarial bulletin.



With each passing year Leo District 3231-A3 comes up

with something innovative which creates a benchmark for
the incoming team.
Indeed District Secretaries plays an important role every

year to bring with them some change to set District’s

standards as high as possible


In the year 2020-21, I along with my team started creating

Monthly and Quarterly video reporting to motivate all the
clubs to do their best even during pandemic. Also, we

launched the first ever District Secretarial Bulletin “SOCH-
A Secret to Creativity”.



I am extremely proud to see Leo-Lion Rahul Narula and his
entire team who have done exceptionally amazing this

year.
And as rightly said “ Let’s go Beyond the Norm to Inspire

the Humanity Within”
