Step 1 BEFORE YOU START
• Have your Wildlife Resources Card in hand.
• Choose where you want to hunt by selecting a Deer Management Zone. Refer to the table above for
the number of Antlerless Deer Hunting Stamps available by zone. Zone descriptions are available at
your local Department of Natural Resources office or online at:
https://www.gov.ns.ca/natr/draws/deerdraw/
Step 2 APPLICATION - Two ways to apply:
• Apply online at https://www.gov.ns.ca/natr/draws/deerdraw/. You will be prompted for a credit card
number to which a fee of $7.40 + HST will be charged.
• Call 1-900-565-3337. This is not an information line. A fee of $7.40 + HST will be billed to the phone
used to make the call every time this number is called. Calls cannot be made using a cell phone and
charges cannot be billed to another number.
Step 3 ANTLERLESS DEER DRAW
A computerized random draw will occur on Saturday, September 3rd, 2011 for the number of available
stamps (see table above) from applicants who applied for each Deer Management Zone.
Step 4 DRAW RESULTS
Winners will be notified by mail. Applicants can also check their individual draw results:

Holders of an Antlerless Deer Hunting Stamp may
hunt antlered bucks throughout the province and
antlerless deer only in the zone indicated on their
stamp. The bag limit is one antlerless deer per hunter
except for persons with a Bonus Antlerless Deer
Hunting Stamp for Zone 102.
