In rural NH we do not have the wash of city lights, we only have stars and planets and
satelite stations and galaxies and if you look long enough, shooting stars! Enjoy!

Good Food and the View’s Even BETTER!...

The locals favorite place to have lunch or sip a cocktail is the deck at the North Conway
Country Club. There is no better vantage point in the Valley to see the Moat and Presi-
dential Ranges! The menu is varied and the prices are very reasonable.

Picnic Lunch on a Covered Bridge…

New Hampshire is lucky enough to have 54 historical Covered Bridges!
Pack a lunch and spend an afternoon imagining the clippity clop of horses hooves on
the wood, drop pebbles into the river below or try your luck at fishing from the
riverbank. Enjoy our country's history!

An Adult Prom?...

This is an adult only event and it's SURE fun! Proms are wasted on the young!
We know that we don't look like 18 year olds and can't party all night either!
Head to the Red Parka Pub for some great entertainment and a lot of laughs!

Be Kind Festival...

The festivities include; poetry, prayer, songs, speakers and more, followed with
random acts of kindness throughout the community. Don't be surprised if a
stranger hands you a smiley face balloon or pays for your coffee.

Mud Bowl...

What can I say? I'm a redneck! The tradition is in its 39th season this year and
make no mistake, the folks playing mud football are totally serious. DON'T
miss the Tournament of Mud Parade too!

Return of the Pumpkin People...

The event is a free and self guided tour! Grab some fun folks and head out
with an official map. We love our Pumpkin People and there is a lot of local
pride in being the creator of one of the yearly favorites!

Woodsman’s Day at Fryeburg Fair...

Where else will you find hundreds of elementary school age children dressed
up as woodsmen? Competitions all day with names like Standing Block,
Springboard and Chop. Don't ask me... just head over and see for yourself!
