Introduction to Edge Collection REVEAL
Cashwrap Counter System

1. Determine Counter Type

Single Counter Multi-Module For Single Counter Module,
Counter proceed to step 4.

2. Determine Counter Configuration

The most common configuration types are shown below.

Straight L-Shaped U-Shaped Island

3. Choose from Cashwrap Counter Modules to create desired Configuration

Select from Straight Modules and Corner Modules in a variety of sizes and depths to create your
desired configuration. Modules can be set side-by-side to create a variety of configurations based
on the space available.

4. Select Footing Type

Levelers Millwork Base 4"Dia. Premium Locking Casters are recommended for Straight
Caster (Medium Gray) Cashwrap Counter Modules only. When
Footing Spec. Code: F Footing Spec. Code: L creating Multi-Module configurations,
Footing Spec. Code: P Levelers are recommended.

5. Select Height and Depth for each Module

2'11"H 2'8"H 2'11"H is the typical 2'0"H 1'6"H 2'6"H is the typical
Standard Height ADA Height* height for counters. Standard Depth Backwrap Depth depth for counters.

*The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is a United States Federal regulation focusing on accessibility in public places. There are several sections of this act 57
that directly affect retail establishments. OPTO International, Inc. makes every effort to be in compliance with the ADA; however, it is possible to design a counter
that is not in compliance. Please be sure to check with your retail contractor or visit ada.gov for more information. In addition to the ADA, your state or local
government may impose additional (and more strict) accessibility requirements for retail counters. Check with your local government to make sure your OPTO
counter configuration is in compliance.

6. Select Counter Module Inserts for each Module

Counter Inserts provide full functionality to each counter module. Choose from Shelves, Door, and Drawer
inserts to match your operational requirements. Doors and drawers are available with and without locks.

7. Select Optional Merchandising Panels and Specialty Counter Components

Merchandising panels can be specified for the front of standard height counter modules and accept 24”W
Options Collection® Accessories. Or, choose from Register Surrounds or Grommets (p.27) to manage wires
and conceal point of sale stations.

8. Determine Ledge size, quantity, and location for each Modules

Based on the desired counter configuration, ledges may be specified. Ledges add an additional 7” of height,
providing a writing surface, and create appropriate separation between the sales associate and shopper.
Multiple ledges can be specified for larger counters, creating multiple point of sale areas.

Edge Collection Post Wall System REVEAL

1. Select Height

7'1"H 8'8"H Post heights are non-adjustable, but custom heights are available.
Cost and lead time for custom-height Posts vary based on requirement.

2. Select Mounting Style

Standard Most common for all applications. Each post mounts Wall-to-Floor Used in conjunction with Front-Mount or Center-Mount

T his wall system is compatible with all Options Collection® Modular Accessories. Select from
Front-Mount (p.156), Rail (p.160), Post (p.161), and Center-Mount Accessories (p.159.) Add signage
to finish telling your story (p.166). Use Front-Mount and Angle-Mount Sign Holders when using
Back Panels. Center-Mount Sign Holders can be used when back panels are not specified.

7. Add Some Interest

Create interest and break up long runs of wall with Edge Collection Wall-Mounted Showcases (p.69)

HELPFUL APPLICATION TIPS:

Edge Collection Post Wall Systems are great for straight walls, floor-to-ceiling, and window display
applications. Create long runs by determining how many modules will fit in your given space. Use
single Edge Collection Posts to break up a long run of wall or fit in small areas where full modules
won't work. To create the look of a finished corner on two intersecting walls, allow a distance of
18" from either side of the corner. The depth of the accessories will complete the corner.

INSTALLATION NOTES:

Fully detailed installation instructions are included for your specific Post Wall configuration when
your order ships. Posts mount to most wall substrates including drywall, brick, and concrete.
Proper anchoring hardware is required (not included). Each flange requires (4) anchors. Consult
your general contractor to recommend appropriate hardware based on the application and wall
substrate. For 24”W Modules, mount Posts 24¾” O.C. For 50”W Modules, mount Posts 49¾” O.C.

PRO TIPS:

48"W Front-Mount Accessories can span across (2) 24"W modules for a continuous look and

HELPFUL APPLICATION TIPS:

Create long runs by determining how many modules will fit in your space. Combine with
Classic or Edge Collection single Posts to break up a long run of wall or fit in small areas
where full modules won't work. To create the look of a finished corner on two intersecting
walls, allow a distance of 18" from either side of the corner. The depth of the accessories will
complete the corner.

INSTALLATION NOTES:

Fully detailed installation instructions are included for your specific Wall-Upright configuration
when your order ships. Uprights mount to most wall substrates including drywall, brick,
and concrete. Proper anchoring hardware is required (not included). Consult your general
contractor to recommend appropriate anchoring hardware based on the application and wall
substrate. Uprights require (1) anchor every 12" O.C. along the vertical height of the Upright.
For 24"W Modules, mount Uprights 24" O.C. For 48"Modules, mount Uprights 48½" O.C.

PRO TIP:

Mix and match modules sizes in a single wall run. Choose from 24"W Accessories for 24"W
Modules, and 48"W Accessories for 48"W Modules. 48"W Front-Mount Accessories do not
