Assalamualaikum and Hi. First and foremost, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Sara Aiesya binti Saiful Ezuan, from 2 Syukur. The jungle book is based on an extremely incredible masterpiece written by Rudyard Kipling. It is a story about Mowgli, an orphaned human boy who, guided by his animal guardians, sets out on a journey of self-discovery while evading the threatening Shere Khan. Mowgli is a child raised by the wolf Raksha and her pack, led by Akela, in an Indian jungle ever since he was brought to them as an infant by the black panther Bagheera. One day, the vicious tiger Shere Khan arrives, detecting Mowgli's scent in the crowd. Consumed by a vendetta against humans for scaring him with fire, he threatens to kill Mowgli. Mowgli decides to leave the jungle for the safety of himself and his pack. Bagheera volunteers to guide him to the nearby "man-village". During the journey to escape, Mowgli went through a lot. He also gets a new best friend, Baloo the bear. Who helped unconscious Mowgli while under Kaa the snake’s influence. While being kidnapped by a gang of monkeys, shockingly, Mowgli hated to take the truth about Akela’s death. Because of the heartbreaking situation, Mowgli goes to confront Shere Khan and kill him. In the aftermath, Raksha becomes the new leader of the wolf pack. Mowgli decides to utilize his equipment and tricks for his use, having found his true home and calling with his wolf family, Baloo, and Bagheera. PENCAPAIAN KHAS HASIL KARYA DAN PENULISAN INOVASI Book Review 2021 A major theme in the book is abandonment followed by fostering, as in the life of Mowgli, echoing Kipling's childhood. In his view, the enemy, Shere Khan, represents the "malevolent would-be fosterparent" who Mowgli in the end outwits and destroys, just as Kipling as a boy had to face Mrs Holloway in place of his parents. Another important theme is of law and freedom; the stories are not just about animal behaviour, still less about the struggle for survival, but about human archetypes in animal form. They teach respect for authority, obedience, and knowing one's place in society with "the law of the jungle" , but the stories also illustrate the freedom to move between different worlds, such as when Mowgli moves between the jungle and the village. Critics have also noted the essential wildness and lawless energies in the stories, reflecting the irresponsible side of human nature. In my personal opinion, The Jungle Book has a few important life lessons for all of us. It is a beautiful and heart-warming story of a feral child Mowgli, raised in a Jungle by a mother wolf, who brings him up as her cub. She shows unconditional love to him and guides and protects him. She never discriminates between Mowgli and her cubs. She accepts Mowgli for who he is, wholeheartedly.

The freedom brings along with it responsibilities and challenges for Mowgli, which he faces with a smile on his face. It also shows us how to treasure friendship. The friendship between Baloo and Bagheera or Mowgli and Baloo is one classic example of how a true friend guides and supports you. The relationship of Mowgli with and Baloo at times is that of a teacher-student relationship. Mowgli is mentored and guided by them. They teach him the rules of the jungle and to respect elders. They are strict when it comes to something wrong. And I’m not curious why Mowgli has immense respect for them. The animals coexist with each other in harmony, despite their differences. We should not take things at face value is very cleverly depicted in a meeting between Mowgli and Kaa (Snake). The most important life lesson in Jungle Book is to not be a coward. We need to face our fears, gain confidence, and triumph over them. This is shown beautifully when Mowgli faces the Tiger - Shere Khan and saves his friend Baloo. Jungle Book also tells us how to lead a simple and happy life. To laugh more and to always try new things. It motivates us to enjoy our life and to relax.
