Adultery

Hester committed the sin of adultery with the town minister
Arthur.

Governor Bellingham punished Hester for her crimes and almost
took Pearl away.

Hester is charged for her crimes and is forced to serve jail time
and has to live alone in the woods.

Dimmesdale

Dimmesdale is the town minister who committed adultery with
Hester and is the father of Pearl.

Everlasting

Hester believed her pain and suffering would be everlasting because
of the way she is talked about in the town.

Forgiveness

Hester begs for forgiveness after Arthur see´s all the pain and
suffering she goes through.

Guilt

Arthur feels guilt after the crimes he has committed and in
realizing that he is no longer good.

Hester

Hester is one of the main characters in the story and has
committed the sin of adultery.

Imagination

Pearls imagination is very active in the way that she fantasizes
with mermaids and animals.

Judge

Hester and Pearl were judged throughout the entire book in many
ways by the townspeople.

Kindness

Hester is a very kind women even tho no one saw her as one.

Love

Hester grows her love for the Minister, Arthur, and he also grows
his love for Hester and her little daughter Pearl.

There were meteors that came down to earth and created the
scarlet letter A.

Pearl is referred to as a Nymph-Child and no longer an elf child.

Pearl is often referred to as an oddball because of her strange
ways as a child.

Pearl is Hester's daughter who was created out of sin.

Everyone in the novel was quiet and kept secrets from certain
people for certain reasons.

Revelation

Hester felt a new sense of joy and revelation after she took off her
scarlet letter for the first time.

Hester wore the scarlet letter upon her chest to represent her sin.

The minister had a lot of trust in people with his issues throughout
the play.

Hester, Pearle, and Arthur Dimmesdale were brought to unity at
the end of the story.

Roger wanted vengeance on Hester and Arthur after what they
have done to him.

Mistress Hibbins was declared the towns witch and the people
were afraid of her.

Hester and Pearl very excluded in the town and felt they didn't
belong there.

Pearl expressed her youth by the ways she played with her
imagination.

The town is like as zoo as it has a great diversity in people.
